Travis Kelce’s misery as Taylor ‘takes over his life’ with extreme demands

As Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance continues to heat up, an insider says the NFL star is expected to follow her orders

She’s taking over the world through record sales, streams and her box office hit, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, which has become the highest grossing concert film of all time, and now Taylor Swift is promising her boyfriend Travis Kelce a career beyond his wildest dreams. But there is a catch – the NFL star has to follow her orders, even though her list of demands is making his head spin.
An insider says, “Travis is really being put through his paces, and not just with the travel, Taylor is taking over his entire life. Of course, he signed up for it when he told her he wanted her to make him a superstar but it’s still way more intense than he was expecting.
“Her work ethic is beyond comprehension, every moment of the day and well into the night is devoted to her career in one way or another and she’s made it clear she expects the same sort of commitment from him.”

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis, 34, recently flew to Sydney to be reunited with Taylor, 34, during the Australia leg of her Eras tour. He was spotted cheering on his girlfriend in the stadium. Footage posted on social media showed the sportsman holding a drink as he reached into his pocket to hand out guitar plectrums to fans, who then screamed with excitement. The clip also shows Travis getting a friendship bracelet from a fan in exchange for a pick. The following day, the loved-up couple were pictured hand-in-hand enjoying a date day at the zoo, where they fed kangaroos and took selfies cosied up.
But despite all of the fun, the insider explains that Taylor has her man on a tight leash.
“When he’s out in public, even if it’s a night out with friends, he has to look at it like work and if he does let his hair down, she’s got tabs on him at all times. The days of just having fun and not worrying about the consequences are over, he’s got to be thinking of his image at every moment.“He’s got all these new handlers, an image coach, a stylist, a new PR team, and he has to check in with them daily. Everything he does, everything he says publicly, and everything he wears has to be approved by the new team that Taylor has set up for him. Which really means it’s got to be approved by Taylor because she has final say on everything, although Travis may not quite grasp that yet.”
Travis’ business managers, twin brothers André and Aaron Eanes have been instrumental in the star’s growing profile and boosting his estimated £32 million fortune following his team’s recent Super Bowl win.
Just last month, Andre told the New York Times, “We positioned Travis to be world famous. We didn’t know how it would happen, or when it would happen, or what would help push that further along. But it’s always been the thought in the back of our minds.”

Travis has previously starred in a number of adverts, including Bud Light, Campbell’s soup, Experian, Pfizer and State Farm insurance.
He hosted Saturday Night Live last March and in October, he made a surprise cameo appearance on the show.
He also has a hit Spotify podcast with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles star Jason called ‘New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce’ and he also has his debut executive producer credit on a new film premiering at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas.
But along with his fame-boosting projects, Travis thrives on being the centre of attention. He was spotted shouting, ‘Viva, Las Vegas’ to Chiefs fans and joining the Chainsmokers behind the decks at the Chiefs’ after-game party.
Recently, he signed with a new agency to pursue his acting dreams. But now that Taylor’s worldwide success and popularity is taking Travis’ fame to new heights, he is expected to comply with her rules.

“It’s not that he can’t go out and cut loose with his friends, she’s not trying to control him to that extent, but she wants him to be very aware of how much his every move is being watched and analysed and the impact that can have on him and his marketability. The stakes really are that high, so he needs to make sure he comes home at a reasonable hour, he needs to make sure he’s never in a position where his loyalty can be questioned,” the insider says.
“Yes, he can take a few swigs of champagne and do shots and act rowdy with the boys, but he’s got to make sure he’s not getting blackout drunk or getting into any sort of compromising position. Obviously, that’s important on a personal level for her and their relationship and maintaining their trust, but it’s also important for his brand, if the Swifties turn on him it could legitimately sink any hopes of being a movie star.”

The insider adds that Taylor is helping him achieve his aim of becoming The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson – who is estimated to be worth £633 million, but he needs to put in the work.
“Taylor is all about helping him make that dream come true. She really does believe he can have a career as big as the Rock, the way he’s always said he wants. But he needs to put in the work. He has the looks and charisma to pull this off but she’s not going to back him if he can’t act. It is an art form and a craft that takes time and dedication to learn. He’s going to need to put in the hours. She’s setting up a private boot camp with a team of teachers to school him,” they explain.
“A huge chunk of his free time now will be spent in these private classes and coaching sessions. She’s willing to set him up with a starring role in a great project but he’s going to need to carry it. She also wants him taking more media training.
“She loves his natural personality and she’s not trying to squash that or get him to hide it but she also wants him to be a little more polished when it comes to what he says and does on camera and in interviews. She’s ready to put 110 percent into this for him but she also demands just as much effort back.”
