Sixteen years on from when he first ignited a feud with Taylor Swift on stage at the 2009 VMAs, Kanye West is at it again. Last week, the rapper, 47, was again forced to delete posts on social media in which he accused Taylor, 35, of having a threesome with pop stars Harry Styles and Justin Bieber. And now insiders tell Closer that Taylor’s boyfriend, NFL ace Travis Kelce, is furious at Kanye and is begging Taylor to let him confront the rapper over his actions.

The source tells us, ‘Travis is burning mad. He finds it appalling that this man has been able to get away with harassing a young woman all these years.

‘That alone gets his hackles up because Travis is old school when it comes to men respecting women. But the fact that it was Taylor, the woman he loves, and you can multiply that rage by a thousand.

‘He’s incensed and feels like Kanye needs to be stopped..’

Stirring up controversy on the platform, from which he has been banned several times, Kanye wrote, ‘Justin Bieber and Harry Styles f—-d Taylor Swift from both sides and didn’t call me. Oh I forgot. I can’t hold water.’

The father-of-four then went on to question why he hadn’t had sex with Taylor, adding ‘…yet’.

A source close to Harry – who Taylor was rumoured to have dated in 2012 – said the singer found Kanye’s words ‘disrespectful’, adding ‘this never happened’, while an insider on Bieber’s side added that the claims were ‘100 percent untrue’.

And while Kanye’s vile vitriol isn’t new, his poison having been allowed to disturbingly run through the heart of the music industry for so long, his latest hate campaign against Taylor reaches new lows.

While using a life-like wax figure of her in his 2016 music video for his single ‘Famous’ was branded by her Taylor’s friend Lena Dunham as ‘sickening’ and emblematic of ‘rape culture’, posting lies to millions about Taylor’s sex life enters an even darker territory.

Taylor has since reportedly filed a cease and desist against Kanye after years of torment from the rapper who appears to have terrifyingly targeted her – using her name in posts and lyrics in relation to sexual activity or allegations.

Now the source says Travis, 35, who Taylor has been dating since 2023, is adamant that he will meet face-to-face with Kanye.

They say, ‘He wants Kanye to apologise to Taylor. He finds it incredibly disrespectful that Kanye has continued this for so long and feels like someone needs to talk to him to really put an end to this.

‘In his view, Kanye is only going to get more and more offensive until someone pushes back, and Travis thinks it’s high time someone pushed back on behalf of Taylor. Of course he’s very happy for that person to be him.’

Taylor’s feud with Kanye first began on stage at the 2009 Grammys, when Kanye rudely interrupted the singer’s acceptance speech for the Best Female Video, grabbing the microphone to say, ‘Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’m a let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!’

The pair later made up, with Taylor praising him as having ‘one of the greatest careers of all time’, a sentiment he returned by sending her a huge bunch of flowers as a thank you gift.

However, a year later in 2016, Kanye again targeted Taylor when he released his track ‘Famous’ with the lyrics, ‘I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b***h famous.’

Kanye’s wife at the time, Kim Kardashian, later leaked a video recording of Kanye speaking to Taylor about the lyric and her apparently accepting it.

Taylor later hit back, saying she hadn’t been made aware of the line calling her a ‘b***h’ and had no idea of the ‘full picture’ – telling Vanity Fair magazine that she hadn’t left her home ‘for a year’ in fear that Kanye had destroyed both her career and character.

But now the source says that Taylor is adamant she doesn’t want to feed the fire of Kanye’s fury and wants Travis to stay away from him.

The insider continues, ‘Taylor doesn’t want to give Kanye any oxygen. She’s touched that Travis wants to stand up for her, that means a lot, but she doesn’t want him to follow through. She can see Kanye is not well and she wants nothing to do with it.

‘It’s safe to say they are at something of a crossroads. But, as furious as Travis is, he’s never going to go against Taylor’s wishes. He respects her too much to do that, and at this point she’s still holding him back.’

Kanye’s latest rant is just the latest in a long line of vile posts over the last few months. In February he was forced to leave the platform when he posted a series of anti-sematic posts alongside an image of Hitler and a goat emoji, commonly used to denote the Greatest Of All Time.

He also posted about men having ‘dominion’ over women, appearing to condone domestic violence when he added, ‘I HAVE HIT WOMEN BEFORE’.

The rapper – who shares children North, 11, Saint, nine, Chicago, six and Psalm, five, with ex Kim – is also currently estranged from his wife Bianca Censori, who sources recently told Closer is ‘no longer willing’ to be controlled by him.

And now the source says Taylor is adamant that she won’t be speaking out, but her legal letter could mean that if Kanye targets her again, he could be facing legal action.

The insider says, ‘Taylor is genuinely very upset about what Kanye has said. He’s terrorised her for so long so of course there’s a part of her that wants to hit back, but she is savvy and will not dignify this with a response.

‘Taylor does believe strongly that it’s best not to feed into drama. She isn’t perfect so there are times she’s swayed from that, but overall that’s the way she operates. And as much as Travis loves her and wants to stand up for her, he’s going to have to accept that.’
