Which world-famous TV presenter has insured his testicles for $10m?

What do the ‘baby mamas’ of this star’s 12 children really think about his latest stunt?

When it comes to celebrities insuring their body parts, there’s nothing new about the growing list of famous faces who have financially protected everything from their smiles, their legs, their vocal chords and even their bums (we’re looking at you J.Lo and Kylie).

However, one world famous TV presenter, 44 – who has a reputation as a ladies man and a reproduction quota akin to a rabbit – has taken his own policy to the extreme and insured his testicles for a staggering $10 million (£7.5 million).

Confirming the swirling rumours on a podcast last week, Mariah Carey’s ex-husband, TV presenter, actor and rapper Nick Cannon, said, ‘I got the insurance policy in my office. It’s legit.’

When further prodded by comedians Raven Symone and Miranda Maday on their show, Tea Time with Amanda and Raven, The Masked Singer judge elaborated, ‘It started off like, ‘Yo, this would be a good joke,’ but we really went through with it.’

Hinting that he also grooms his groin area to keep in tip-top condition, he added, ‘Dr. Squatch (a soap brand), who is like, they’re known for like manscaping and all that stuff…They were like, ‘Yo, a lot of celebrity women are insuring their legs in case something goes wrong.’

When collaborating with the company last year, Nick revealed how he was asked, ‘What is your most valuable asset?’ to which he replied, ‘My balls’.

And with the profile of his penis rivalling that of  David Beckham’s ‘golden balls’, Nick has now stolen the footballer’s moniker.

During the ad which was released last summer, Nick, who is filmed groping some solid golden eggs, proudly declares he has ‘the most valuable balls in the world’ before a narrator boasts about the Big Drive host’s baby-making capacity, adding, ‘He is single handedly keeping the human population afloat.’

Nick currently has 12 children, and revealed that if he were to lose or damage his testicles, they would get the cash – equalling around $833,000 each.
‘If I happen to lose one, all the money goes to my kids,’ he said.

While Nick is famously father to twins Monroe and Moroccan, 14, with his ex-wife of eight years, Mariah Carey, who he was divorced from in 2016, there’s still another ten mini Cannons pitter- pattering around.

In 2022 he called Mariah his ‘fantasy love’ and shocked fans when he said he would reconcile with her if their romance went back to the ‘fairytale’ they once had.
However, Nick then moved on with model Britanny Bell, with whom he shares Golden Sagon, eight, Powerful Queen, four, and two-year-old Rise Messiah.

Nick has said of beauty queen Brittany, ‘[She] has taught me so much about parenting, psychology, spirituality, love and just life in general,’ and described her as ‘super mom’.

The pair first met in 2015 – the year after his split with Mariah – and appeared to have split in 2021 following the birth of their first child, but have been on and off since, even celebrating Mother’s Day and Christmas together last year.

During their breaks, Nick kept himself busy, going on to have another seven children, all of similar ages.

Cannon welcomed Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with DJ Abby De La Rosa in 2021 and Beautiful Zeppelin in 2022 – just two months after son Rise’s birthday.

Opening up about her relationship with Nick, who ‘Rolling Stone’ magazine called a ‘serial impregnator’, Abby said that same year, ‘I think I see monogamy for myself down the line, and this won’t get me there. But I love where I’m at, at this very moment. It’s just not my forever.’

Abby also gave an insight into the relationship between the six mothers’ of Nick’s children (a number coming in at only just below Elon Musk’s seven).

Revealing that she had coffee and dinner with another mother, Abby added at the time, ‘She’s a beautiful human being and I wish her nothing but the best in this forever journey we’re a part of. The rest of the women I don’t know and never met, but I wish them all the best as well.’

Nick also welcomed son Zed with model Alyssa Cannon in 2021, who tragically died of brain cancer at just five months old – the news of which Nick bravely shared on his show.

He also revealed how he had been faithful during the time of Zed’s illness, adding, ‘We were faithful and hopeful for that time. We carried on, he was still just playing with his brothers and sisters, I embraced every moment.’

The pair later welcomed Halo Marie, who was born in December the following year. Halo was Nick’s fifth child to be born in 2022 and to-date, is his final child to have been born.

Earlier that year In June, Nick also announced the arrival of son Legendary Love with model and real estate agent Bre Tiesi, who described Nick as an ‘Always present, happy, consistent, loving parent and an even better person!’

But it was the unexpected birth of daughter Onyx Ice with photographer LaNisha Cole that appeared to have led fans to cruelly troll the mothers of Nick’s children, with one referring to him as a ‘juice donor’.

At the time he hit back, writing on Instagram, ‘As we all know, I am not easily triggered and have quite tough skin and have always been an open book but not everyone in my family has that same level of strength.

‘So I pray and ask others to please project all criticism and cynicism towards ME and not the loving and precious Mothers of my children.’

He also came under criticism again earlier this week when Alyssa hit out when she discovered Nick’s insurance policy on his testicles.

While the pair had a close relationship during their son Zed’s illness, Alyssa posted an Instagram Stories, accusing Nick of not spending time with his daughter.

‘Ha Ha Haaa Funny. Any plans on seeing your child? It’s been over a month @nickcannon. But good to know she’ll get some of your $ if anything happens to your balls,’ she wrote.

However, Nick maintains that his children are his greatest blessings, admitting last month, ‘I’m not done!’

Speaking of fatherhood, he previously said, Every day I just wake up excited as a father. I’m so excited about all my kids. Constantly, from every aspect of it. From them getting citizen of the month awards in the first grade to the birth of the new ones.’
