Back in May fans slammed Jennifer Lopez as ‘embarrassing’ after she kissed both a male and female dancer on stage during a steamy performance. But now it seems our all-time favourite diva will not be deterred after yet another series of saucy shows.

But last week, JLo found herself at the centre of speculation that she was struggling following the breakdown of her marriage to Ben Affleck last summer after her skirt fell off on stage, she simulated sex with three male dancers and boasted that she likes it ‘hard’ in the bedroom.

During a performance on her birthday (July 24th) in Poland, JLo’s gold tasselled skirt fell to the ground to unveil a pair of shiny gold hot pants. And while she styled out the mishap, throwing her skirt into the crowd and joking ‘I’m glad the skirt was reinforced, I usually don’t wear underwear’, fans were quick to raise their concerns.

‘I actually feel bad for her. She’s clearly going through some stuff and not making the best decisions for herself,’ commented one fan, while another added, ‘This is the most purposeful “accident” I’ve seen all week.’

But JLo’s over-sharing didn’t stop there. Just days before her wardrobe malfunction, the mum-of-two took to the stage at the Cook Music Fest in Tenerife and simulated several sex positions with a male dancer on stage.

In the same week, JLo then performed in Italy, where talks with fans between songs became very intimate as she shared her preferences in the bedroom and suggested her sex drive had ramped up due to her age.

The outspoken star told fans, ‘I have to be honest with you, sometimes I get in different moods at night. I don’t know about you but I do, and sometimes I like it hard.’

She then added, ‘Other days, I am feeling a little romantic. You put on candles and soft music. On those days, I like it real slow.’

And while JLo has always been known for her sexy image and was voted the sexiest woman in the world twice over by the now-defunct FHM Magazine, a source now tells us that those around her are concerned by her OTT antics, and that her children – twins Max and Emme, 17 – are ‘wincing’ over her displays.

The insider says, ‘The way she’s acting and talking is way over the top for everyone around her. She’s going to these extremely tacky measures just to build buzz around her sexy stage act. It must be difficult for her kids, and they are most likely wincing over how she talks about what she likes in the bedroom.’

It’s been seven months since JLo’s bombshell divorce was finalised, with next month marking what would have been their two year anniversary.

But while the A list pair are no longer husband and wife, their initial sizzling chemistry was so strong that JLo, 56, and Ben, 52, gravitated towards each other almost two decades after their original split in 2004.

And while we recently reported that JLo’s snog-fest at the AMA’s had left Ben ‘swooning’ over his stunning ex, the insider says her latest stunts have left pals ‘cringing’ as she appeals to the more sordid aspect of her fan base.

The source says, ‘She’s determined to be this sex symbol and behaving in ways that don’t become her. Her friends understand she has her sexy image to uphold, but there are boundaries and it’s cringeworthy for people in her world to see her going for cheap reactions.

‘She’s always had a very sexy persona and no one’s trying to take that away from her, but at a certain point it starts to become very tired.’

They add, ‘The thing with the skirt falling off was just mortifying, she tried to laugh it off but it looked so staged and desperate. Rather than recovering gracefully, she kept going like it was part of the act before talking on stage about how she likes it hard or slow depending on her mood. It just makes everyone around her uncomfortable.

‘People are telling her to take it down a notch, they’re worried she’s making herself look desperate and embarrassing her family in the process.’

And while Max and Emme – who JLo shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony have always maintained a really close bond with their mum, the source says that as they reach adulthood, the twins are more in touch than ever with ways in which their mum is criticised online.

‘Her kids are teenagers now and they’re incredibly aware of what’s being said about their mum online, it’s got to be pretty cringe for them,’ the insider says.

‘Some people might be cheering her on for being sexy at her age, but there’s a difference between owning your confidence and oversharing in a way that feels like shock marketing. People close to her are urging her to stop, to think about how she’s coming off. She doesn’t need to behave like a 25-year-old pop star trying to go viral.’

In an apparent nod to ex Ben, who is reported to be ‘casually dating’ again, JLo heavily hinted to audience members that her new tracks were inspired by her ex.
She told crowds, ‘I made a decision when I decided to do these shows that I wasn’t going to sing all the love songs — that I was going to do my anti-love songs.I wanted to do the songs that were like, ‘Get out of here! I hate you!’.’

And while she later quipped, ‘I’m kidding’, the insider says that JLo is still cut up over the end of her marriage and determined to show Ben that she’s coming out on top.

The insider says, ‘She would never admit it but a lot of people are convinced she was saying those very graphic things on stage to get under Ben’s skin and gain his attention. There’s no doubt she was saying those things to take another swipe at Ben. Her ego is still bruised.
‘She knows very well that’s going to get picked up and make headlines, she’s not new to the game. Doing this is exactly the sort of thing she does when she’s trying to send a message to him.’

They continue, ‘But this constant need to be provocative and edgy is a bad look. She’s being told to think about her legacy. The last thing she should be doing is risking being turned into a punch line. But she’s not thinking straight, she’s still reeling from her divorce and that is colouring her vision.’
