At 27, Kylie Jenner has grown up more quickly than most. Already a reality star at the age of 10, she was a businesswoman in her teens and a cosmetics impresario by the end of adolescence – prompting Forbes to name her the world’s youngest self-made billionaire by the time she turned 21 (though that honorific has been disputed). Add two children to the mix by the age of 24 – Stormi, now seven, and Aire, now three – and it’s no surprise that Kylie’s barely had a moment to act her age, let alone let her hair down and have a little fun – without facing the consequences of an early morning wake-up from her kids or a conference call the next day. 

But, by all accounts, Kylie’s fun factor has seemingly spiked in recent years – and it’s all thanks to her age-appropriate boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet. At 29, the actor may have also achieved a similar level of fame and fortune as his girlfriend (to a degree that few other twentysomethings could ever comprehend), but he’s still up for having some young and carefree fun – making him the perfect antidote to Kylie’s life in the fast and serious lane. And according to insiders, they’re both committing enthusiastically to the cause. 

“It’s been a non-stop party for them the past month-and-a-half,” says an insider close to the unlikely couple, who first met at Paris Fashion Week over two years ago. “Between celebrating Timothée’s movie A Complete Unknown [for which he was nominated for a slew of accolades for his role as Bob Dylan] at various premieres, to all the awards show shindigs and private parties with his friends and producers, they’ve hardly taken a night off. Kylie has been in ‘mommy mode’ for so long, so she really hasn’t gone wild like this in years. She’s having the time of her life.”

The pair’s packed social calendar has certainly been in overdrive since the beginning of the year – marking a vast change from their early days of dating. Initially, they began their romance discreetly, rarely being seen together in the first few months of dating, and eschewing public date nights for quiet nights in. But their transition to being a public-facing couple reached its apex this year, as the pair hit the awards circuit in fabulous and uproarious style, with Kylie supporting her beau’s best actor nominations. One of their most recent loved-up appearances – at the 2025 Oscars – was proof that Kylie’s most definitely in her party girl era, with her party boy by her side, as they cosied up for the cameras, indulged in the drinks at the Vanity Fair after-party, and revelled with Kylie’s sisters, Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian, as well as with a packed room of A-listers. And while their party life is keeping them on their feet on the circuit, we’re told it’s likewise sweeping them off their feet at the end of the night – leading to some saucy after-hours sessions.

“A bonus on top of all the partying is that once they get a little tipsy, their chemistry gets even hotter, and Timmy can’t keep his hands off Kylie,” our source reveals. “They love being out with friends but usually by midnight, or shortly after, they’re ditching the entourage to go back home together, or to a 5-star hotel, for one-on-one time. Kylie is fairly discreet, but she has bragged about how incredible the sex is and says no one has rocked her world the way Timothée does.” 

It may be a little TMI, but it’s also pleasing news for fans who have long seen Kylie act well beyond her years. While growing up in the spotlight, she was scrutinised from an impressionable young age – leading her to dramatically alter her appearance with fillers in her teens. She’s since said that having “the most beautiful sisters in the world” affected her self-esteem, noting when she was just 17, ““I feel like I’ve heard the worst anyone can say about me over and over every day.” 

For all that scrutiny, it’s no surprise that – despite living very publicly – she’s also kept her personal life behind closed doors, and famously spent the majority of her pregnancies under total wraps from the public. Then, after having her children, her commitments and priorities changed again. Obviously, she’s had the kind of A-star help and support that few other mothers could afford, but she’s also had to stay in and act responsibly, when many girls her age would be busy falling out of nightclubs or indulging in some no-strings attached dating. That’s why those close to Kylie are now celebrating her recent party streak with Timothée. This doesn’t mean the two are on any kind of downward spiral – they both prioritise their careers and commitments above all else. But, they’re both in their twenties and having fun on lavish nights out – with zero apologies given. 

“Neither of them sees anything wrong with the partying and boozing,” says our source. “If anything, they seem to be taking pride in how hard they can party while keeping it all together. It’s their thing, and once the drinks start flowing, their libidos heat up even more. With a buzz on, they can be a lot less inhibited with each other.”

For someone who’s always been accused of being slightly “bland” in the public eye (which she’s since said was a control mechanism to avoid being targeted by trolls), it’s been nice to see Kylie let her hair down and act her age. This has been all the more of a relief to her family and friends, considering the cosmetics queen is quietly mourning the sudden passing of her hairstylist and BFF, Jesus Guerrero, whose death at the age of 43 shocked the showbiz world last month. Kylie has since paid tribute to him on Instagram, calling him “the light in my life” and “a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support”. There’s no doubt that, behind the scenes, she’s still struggling with grief – but Timothée is proving to be the perfect pick-me-up. And, with a champagne flute in hand, we’re told Kylie’s healing and having all the fun she’s been craving for years.
