It could be the happily ever after we\u2019ve all been hoping Adele gets, after a rough few years. Following her divorce from Simon in 2019, after only a year of marriage, she hit another rocky patch when she was forced to cancel her Vegas residency last January \u2013 just weeks before the concerts were due to start. The Skyfall singer later admitted it had hit her hard, saying, \u201cI was a shell of a person for a couple of months. I just had to wait it out and grieve the shows and get over the guilt, but it was brutal\u2026\u201d The star has been open in previous years about her anxiety around stage fright, saying, \u201cI’m scared of audiences. One show in Amsterdam, I was so nervous I escaped out the fire exit. I’ve thrown up a couple of times. Once in Brussels, I projectile vomited on someone. I just gotta bear it. But I don’t like touring. I have anxiety attacks a lot. My heart feels like it’s going to explode.\u201d But having Rich by her side has helped, with Adele praising her man as \u201cgreat.
