That\u2019s just the way he is \u2013 he\u2019s obsessed with keeping tabs on her. He\u2019ll tell people that she\u2019s the mother of his kids and he has a duty to protect them by knowing what she\u2019s up to at all times. He\u2019s constantly pestering their mutual friends and members of staff to pass on information, and he\u2019s even asking their kids what mum\u2019s been up to and who she\u2019s been hanging out with. Despite being hellbent on not letting Kim find love again, Kanye hasn\u2019t wasted any time in moving on himself. Shortly after they got together, Kanye started trolling Pete (whom he called \u201cSkete\u201d) on social media, even alleging he had AIDS and doctoring a newspaper headline to read \u201cSkete Davidson Dead at Age 28\u201d. He also released a music video portraying an animated version of himself kidnapping and decapitating a character who looked undeniably like Pete. Kim and Pete ended their nine-month relationship in August 2022, and the comedian has since said he needed \u201ctrauma therapy\u201d \u2013 in large part \u2013 due to his dealings with Kanye during that time. Kim, meanwhile, has said on The Kardashians that she felt \u201ca lot of guilt\u201d while dating the comedian because of what he went through. She\u2019s also slammed her ex-husband\u2019s treatment towards her, telling her mum, Kris Jenner, on their reality series that Kanye planted rumours that she\u2019d cheated on him with singer Drake while they were still together.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe one that was supposed to protect me – and still does interviews saying they will be my forever protector – is the one that\u2019s hurting me the most,\u201d she said, referencing Kanye. \u201cHe was the one that started a rumour that said I was hooking up with Drake, having an affair. Our whole marriage, he accused me of that publicly. I really can\u2019t wrap my head around how he thinks he is a protector.\u201d
Now, we\u2019re told, Kim is doing her best to ignore Kanye\u2019s meddling \u2013 and her new man, Odell, is doing the same.
