As Prince Andrew\u2019s reputation plunges further following the unsealing of more legal documents containing allegations relating to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his long-time associate Ghislaine Maxwell, insiders say the Duke of York is considering writing a tell-all memoir, even if it risks him being pushed out of the monarchy completely.
They say, \u201cPrince Andrew is feeling the wrath of King Charles and others as his battered reputation plumbs new depths \u2013 and he\u2019s talking seriously about pulling the trigger on a tell-all, even if it makes him persona non grata a la Prince Harry.\u201d
They add, \u201cAndrew would like to get his side of the story out there, remind people how much good he\u2019s done for the Commonwealth as a serving member of the armed forces and loyal son to Her Majesty. He feels Charles will never give him a fair deal, so the only way is to fight fire with fire now.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Last week, the late Queen\u2019s second son, Andrew, 63, catapulted the Royal Family into a fresh scandal amid detailed claims he took part in an \u201cunderage orgy\u201d and groped a woman\u2019s breast. The court document released in New York includes claims an underage girl was told to give Andrew \u201cwhatever he demanded\u201d while on Epstein\u2019s private Caribbean resort on Little St James in the US Virgin Islands. The documents also claim sex tapes are alleged to have been taken of Prince Andrew, former President Bill Clinton and business tycoon Sir Richard Branson by Jeffrey Epstein, who ended his life in prison in 2019. Prince Andrew has previously denied any wrongdoing and Sir Richard Branson says the accusations are \u201cbaseless and unfounded\u201d.\u00a0
The latest allegations come after the sexual assault case filed against Andrew in 2021 by Virginia Giuffre, who has long claimed that Epstein made her have \u201cdisgusting\u201d sex with the royal three times, starting in 2001 when she was just 17.<\/p>\n

Prince Andrew\u2019s lawyers said at the time he \u201cunequivocally denies Giuffre\u2019s false allegations against him.\u201d He settled the case out of court for an an alleged \u00a312m in February 2022, sparing him the humiliation of giving evidence in a trial and protecting the royal family from further reputational damage.
Amid the scandal, the Duke – who is divorced from ex wife Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson and is Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie\u2019s dad – was stripped of his military titles and royal patronages as well as the use of the title His Royal Highness in 2022. But more recently, he has been present at royal events, joining the royal walkabout at Sandringham after the Christmas church service. It was also reported he had won in the battle to stop the King from evicting him from Royal Lodge to Frogmore Cottage, once home to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
However, the latest sensational allegations could potentially put a nail in the coffin to further amends being made with the family, giving Andrew ammunition to write his long-awaited book.<\/p>\n

Along with this, Prince Andrew\u2019s 2019 no-holds-barred\u00a0Newsnight interview, where he told journalist Emily Maitlis that he had \u201cno recollection\u201d of ever meeting Guiffre, despite the existence of a photograph of the two of them standing next to each other. He also dismissed some of Guiffre\u2019s allegations by claiming he could not sweat, after she claimed he had been \u201cprofusely sweating\u201d during their alleged encounter. Other extraordinary claims that were made by Andrew in the programme included that he could not have had sex with Giuffre on the night he was accused of doing so because he had taken his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie to a Pizza Express in Woking.<\/p>\n
