The actor, who\u2019s known to friends as Hoges, has been through the mill the last 10 years, after divorcing his first wife Linda Kozlowski in 2014, struggling with ill health and also keeping his son with Linda, Chance, on the straight and narrow. But he\u2019s now on the lookout for love.<\/p>\n
An insider reveals, \u201cPaul\u2019s been down on his luck for a few years but now he\u2019s mobile again, his son\u2019s doing better, and he wants to get out there and date. He\u2019s putting the word out among his friends and even willing to do online dating. Paul was married to his first wife, Noelene Hogan, between 1982 and 1989 and shares five children with her. A year later he married Linda, 66, after meeting on the set of the 1986 film, and they were together for 24 years before she filed for divorce in 2014 citing irreconcilable differences.\u00a0In 2015, the Australian actor’s manager, Douglas Urbanski, revealed Paul had his sights set on Kardashian \u2018momager\u2019 Kris Jenner.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cHe told me that if anyone asks about his love life, to tell them truthfully that he wants to date Kris Jenner,\u201d Douglas told a US magazine at the time. But sadly that wasn\u2019t meant to be as Kris, 67, had already started dating Corey Gamble, following her divorce from Bruce Jenner.<\/p>\n
In 2017, Paul was said to be \u201cstunned\u201d after his ex Linda married her Moroccan business partner Moulay Hafid Babaa, who she met shortly after divorcing Paul. A mutual friend at the time said, \u201cHe wants Linda to be happy, but probably wishes she was with him. There is still a part of him that will always love Linda and he maybe thought they\u2019d still end up together.\u201d
Paul\u2019s love life hasn\u2019t been a focus for the actor the last few years. \u201cI\u2019ve lost all my body fat and the muscles all shrank and the strength hasn\u2019t come back, because it left me feeble. I get Chance to open jars for me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The actor was prescribed corticosteroids to shrink the growth, but as a result, shed a lot of weight.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey shrink your muscles and [they’re] supposed to make you fat, but I got thinner and thinner and thinner,\u201d Paul revealed. \u201cI\u2019m now in the business of trying to put a bit of fat on\u2026 because you feel the cold too much when you’ve got no body fat.\u201d<\/p>\n
He admitted the devastating impact on his health has left him wanting to return to Australia and leave the $3.5million Venice Beach home he shares with Chance. Paul – who now has a pacemaker – described himself being \u2018held together by string’ while attempting to work his way back to full health. But now, he is ready for romance again.<\/p>\n

They add, \u201cPaul doesn\u2019t want to die alone. Just because he\u2019s 84 doesn\u2019t mean he\u2019s passed it. He was quite the stud back in the day and feels he\u2019s got something to give. For a long time after his divorce from Linda [in 2013] Paul said he wasn\u2019t looking for love, but that was because he was hoping it would just come to him. He\u2019s finally admitted that he\u2019s lonely and he wants to meet someone. He still has plenty to offer and he\u2019s in darn good shape for his age, it\u2019s hard to believe he\u2019s 84.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s still full of energy with an incredibly optimistic and positive take on life and he\u2019s got a fantastic sense of humour, he\u2019s always up for a good laugh. He\u2019s kind, he\u2019s generous, and for all his success he\u2019s stayed very grounded, he\u2019s not some ego maniac like a lot of these Hollywood types.\u201d<\/p>\n
Along with his own health battles, his son Chance\u2019s wellbeing has also been a cause for concern for Paul. He recently revealed the 24-year-old was ‘doing a lot better’ after an emergency trip to the hospital last October.<\/p>\n
During that time, a concerning video emerged of Chance sat in a car covered in cuts and bruises and wearing a pulse oximeter on his chest, with his friend smoking in the back seat. Chance, who is an aspiring musician, has a history of erratic behaviour and was reportedly fixated with the devil years ago, before his parents teamed up to get him back on track.<\/p>\n
Paul said in a recent interview, \u201cThe only family [Chance has got] is me. All his friends, his band, musician mates, girlfriends, everything \u2013 they’re all American.
