They were pictured looking more loved-up than ever this week, packing on the PDA at the premiere of Ben\u2019s new film, Air<\/i>.<\/p>\n
And while Closer<\/i> has previously reported that Ben Affleck, 50, and wife J-Lo, 53, are hoping to have a baby via surrogate, insiders now say that Jennifer has been delaying plans in a bid to find the perfect candidate.<\/p>\n
A source says, \u201cJen and Ben have been interviewing potential carriers for many months now, but right as they\u2019re about to sign papers Jen keeps changing her mind and putting it on hold for one reason or another. She\u2019s methodical in everything in her life, but she seems to be really overcomplicating the situation and stalling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bennifer \u2013 as they\u2019re affectionately known to fans \u2013 were the \u201990s IT couple, and got engaged in November 2002 after meeting on the set of Gigli<\/i> a year before.<\/p>\n
But the couple called off the wedding in January 2004, with Ben going on to marry actress Jennifer Garner, with whom he has children Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11 \u2013 while J-Lo tied the knot with singer Marc Anthony, welcoming twins Emme and Max, 14, in 2008.<\/p>\n
Ben and Jen rekindled their romance in 2021 and had a lavish wedding at Ben\u2019s home in Georgia last summer.<\/p>\n
And reports have claimed that the couple are over the moon with their sweet blended family, but would love to add to their brood.<\/p>\n
The insider now concludes that Jen isn\u2019t quite ready, saying, \u201cJen does want a baby and insists that it will happen in due course, but everything has to feel right and, from her point of view, there\u2019s absolutely no sense in rushing into this. They have the very best agencies at their disposal so they\u2019ll have no issue finding the right candidates. Ben\u2019s telling her that what will be will be, but it doesn\u2019t help that she\u2019s being super-picky and non-committal.\u201d<\/p>\n
