And while some fans are championing the 43-year-old for her new look, most are slating her as she becomes the latest famous face accused of turning to Ozempic to lose weight, as some claim the star is the \u2018skinniest she’s ever been.\u2019<\/p>\n
The Genie in a Bottle hitmaker’s shrinking frame went viral when she visited a Barry’s Bootcamp workout studio in West Hollywood last week, donning a tight-fitted bodysuit as she attended a workout class soundtracked by her classic album and meeting fans.<\/p>\n
But rather than focusing on the milestone anniversary, the singer’s almost 10million Instagram followers were sidetracked by her new look. While some fans praised her \u2018amazing\u2019 physique, telling her \u2018you look like you did when you first came out as an artist,\u2019 the majority of comments were negative, and mocked her for her speculated use of the weight-loss drug.<\/p>\n

\u2018Ozempic is not a fitness,\u2019 one scolded, as another wrote, \u2018Promoting a gym when the reason she got so skinny has nothing to do with exercise.\u2019<\/p>\n
A third commented, \u2018I don’t think she works out, she just doesn’t eat,\u2019 as another penned, \u2018I’m sorry, I’m going to probably get hate for this, but I think she’s too thin.\u2019<\/p>\n
Ozempic, a medication prescribed to patients living with type 2 diabetes, mimics a hormone, telling the brain the person injecting the medication is full, decreasing the appetite and therefore encouraging weight loss.<\/p>\n
Stars such as Oprah Winfrey, Amy Schumer and Sharon Osbourne have admitted to using the drug, while others like Ashley Benson, Julia Fox and Lizzo have hit out at claims they lost weight using medication.<\/p>\n
Christina\u00a0has not publicly commented on whether she is using the drug, but many \u2013 including TikTok doctor Jonny Betteridge \u2013 believe she has, as well as undergoing other treatments to make her appear more youthful.<\/p>\n
So-called \u2018Ozempic face\u2019 is one of the side effects of the medication as it causes the skin on your face to sag if you lose weight too rapidly.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rumours have swirled she’s had a facelift\u00a0<\/p>\n

But\u00a0Christina\u00a0seems to have escaped the common side effect, with Dr Jonny taking to social media to discuss what cosmetic surgery he believes the singer may have undergone.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He said in a TikTok video, \u2018The change in weight in such a short period of time could be attributed to Ozempic use and I also think she would have dissolved all the filler in her face before then undergoing some surgical treatments.<\/p>\n
\u2018A few years ago, she went through a phase of having too much dermal filler which gave a pillow face like appearance.<\/p>\n
\u2018We could predominantly see this in the midface, cheeks and lips. As time went on, a combination of too much dermal filler and an overall change in her weight led to this facial fullness.\u2019<\/p>\n
Looking back at images of the star when she launched in 1999, Dr Jonny continued, \u2018If we compare her 18-year-old self to now at 43, the main changes I can immediately see are her nose \u2013 it’s much sharper and lifted.<\/p>\n
\u2018She has more proportionate lips both in relation to the upper and lower lip so we can attribute this to filler and also the dental work as well, with veneers. Most notably an upper blepharoplasty to remove excess eyelid skin and I think an endoscopic facelift.\u2019<\/p>\n

Christina\u00a0has not publicly discussed any cosmetic surgery she may have had but opened up about her use of Xeomin \u2013 an injectable that helps decrease frown lines between the eyebrows \u2013 last year.<\/p>\n
She said, \u2018I think we all can rely on a little help. Why not? I think it’s great to share and to be honest and open about what you’re doing \u2013 in your comfort zone, of course. I’ve always been a pretty open book about embracing my body, my looks, and things like that.\u2019<\/p>\n
