He\u2019s long enjoyed a reputation as one of the nicest celebrities in Hollywood, but Hugh Jackman\u2019s squeaky-clean image has been called into question following speculation about\u00a0a romance with his former co-star.<\/p>\n
Since his shock split from wife Deborra-Lee Furness last year, the A-lister, 56, has been linked to American actress Sutton Foster. However, their\u00a0 alleged relationship has raised eyebrows after Deborra-Lee, 68, recently \u2018liked\u2019 a video from gossip blogger Tasha Lustig, which claimed that Hugh was ‘running off with the mistress’ and planning a ‘soft launch’ of their relationship.<\/p>\n
Setting tongues wagging even further, Deborra-Lee\u2019s friend Amanda de Cadenet also commented on the same post, writing, \u2018You are on point with this one. And now, sources tell Closer that Hugh is fretting about the damage the\u00a0stories could cause. An insider says, \u2018Hugh\u00a0has always taken a huge amount of pride in his \u201cnice guy\u201d reputation, he\u2019s worked hard at it. A lot of people have been calling him a wolf in sheep\u2019s clothing because it\u2019s very hard to reconcile this guy that\u2019s always seemed so above reproach with a guy that would ditch his wife like this. And while nothing has been confirmed, people are very disappointed in him.’<\/p>\n
Hugh and Sutton, 49, first began working together on The Music Man on Broadway in March 2020. The pair took on the roles of Harold Hill and Marian Paroo in the show, which ran from February 2022 to January 2023 at the Winter Garden Theatre in Manhattan.<\/p>\n

It comes after Hugh and ex-wife Deborra-Lee announced the end of their marriage last September following 27 years together. The couple, who are parents to adopted children Oscar, 24, and Ava, 19, fell in love in 1995 after meeting on the set of the Australian TV series Corelli.<\/p>\n
