It\u2019s been over two decades since Britain\u2019s biggest power couple, David and Victoria Beckham, had their perfect image shattered when claims of an affair between Becks and his former assistant, Rebecca Loos, emerged.\u00a0<\/p>\n
And while mum-of-four Victoria, 50, recently posted a slew of loved-up snaps of her and David to celebrate his upcoming \u00a050th\u00a0birthday, the sensational claims have haunted the couple ever since.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Now, in a new TV interview, Rebecca, 47, has once again spoken out about her alleged affair with David, doubling down on her promise that she has always told \u2018the truth\u2019 \u2013 a bombshell we are told has left Victoria fearing that this \u2018nightmare\u2019 will always rear its head.<\/p>\n
Opening up about what she claims was a four-month affair between her and David, which took place back in 2003 when he joined Real Madrid from Manchester United, Rebecca, 47, told\u00a060 Minutes Australia\u00a0of her decision to go public:\u00a0\u2018\u2026It was a very brave thing to do to go up against them. I have stuck to the truth. I’ve never exaggerated. I never lied about a single thing.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n
Rebecca also, somewhat cruelly, claimed she had woken up in David\u2019s hotel room \u2013 with Victoria\u2019s toiletries still in the bathroom \u2013 with a \u2018huge smile\u2019 on her face after the first time they slept together.<\/p>\n
Going into details about how she had initially joked with David to \u2018f**k off\u2019 when she claims he asked her to come back to his hotel room, she then described how he\u00a0\u2018kept looking at me\u2026it\u2019s the way he looks at you, it\u2019s hard not to [give in].\u2019<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a source tells us how Vic has been left heartbroken all over again. They say, \u2018Every time Rebecca opens her mouth, it\u2019s like another million daggers to Vic\u2019s heart. Rebecca speaking yet again just reiterates the fact she will never escape this nightmare no matter how hard she tries.<\/p>\n
\u2018The new revelations she made about the affair made her feel physically sick and while she tries not to let it affect her and David, it\u2019s difficult not to feel intensely angry and resentful at him and start quizzing him all over again.\u2019<\/p>\n
They add, \u2018No matter how much of a good place her and David are in and however much they try to ignore it, Rebecca comes back when they least expect it with yet more bombshells – throwing their marriage into further chaos and putting untold tension and stress on them every time.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n
Rebecca has since left the fame game behind, swapping her life as a Dutch glamour model and celebrity assistant to marry her doctor husband, Sven Christjar Skaiaa, with whom she shares sons Magnus and Liam.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The family live in a remote village in the Norwegian mountains, where Rebecca practices and teaches yoga and meditation \u2013 a world away from the storm that wreaked havoc on her life back in 2004 when she first sat down with the now-defunct News of the World and made the shocking claims of her affair with David.\u00a0<\/p>\n
At the time, the footballer, who was at the peak of his footballing fame, was dad to four-year-old Brooklyn, now 26, and baby Romeo, now 22, and he and Victoria had been married for four years. The couple later welcomed son Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper, 13.<\/p>\n

Now, Rebecca explains that the reason she went public about their affair was the \u2018heartache and pain\u2019 she suffered, adding, \u2018I felt the way he treated me was unfair, what he was getting away with \u2013 that two-faced life. He was golden balls \u2013 he was the man \u2013 ‘pat him on the back’\u2026It was Victoria\u2019s fault, it was my fault. All the blame was on us.\u2019<\/p>\n
Vic meanwhile, finally spoke out about the accusations in David\u2019s 2023 Netflix documentary, saying, \u2018It felt like the world was against us. And here\u2019s the thing \u2013 we were against each other if I\u2019m being completely honest.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n
David, without mentioning any details on names, added, \u2018It was the first time that Victoria and I had been put under that sort of pressure in our marriage.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n
And while the\u00a0Beckhams\u00a0may have hoped that by speaking up and taking some ownership and control of the situation themselves they might have dampened the rumours, it seems David\u2019s further denial of Rebecca\u2019s claims, calling them \u2018horrible stories\u2019, has only stoked the fire. \u00a0<\/p>\n
And a source tells Closer that Vic is at her wits’ end. While she wanted to keep her distance and hoped Rebecca would leave them alone, she\u2019s now telling David that, as a last resort, she\u2019s prepared to have a showdown with Rebecca once and for all.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The insider says, \u2018Vic\u2019s convinced that Rebecca is hell-bent on tearing them apart and won\u2019t be happy until she sees them divorced – insisting she needs to step in and do something drastic to stop her, or they\u2019ll forever be haunted by her, not to mention lose each other even after all these years.<\/p>\n
\u2018She\u2019s on the brink and is at her wits end over what to do, but at this point she is convinced the only way to end this once and for all is to have a sit down face-to-face with her.\u2019<\/p>\n
Revealing how Vic plans to appeal to Rebecca as a mother by detailing the effects the allegations have had on the whole family, we are told, \u2018Posh knows that this isn’t the last time she’ll hear from Rebecca this year, as she knows that Rebecca will no doubt speak out again once her Netflix show has aired later this year – like she did with David’s.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2018While it\u2019s her worst nightmare, Vic feels that the only way to make Rebecca stop will be to physically see the pain it\u2019s causing not only her but her children and as a mother herself, it will give her the wake-up call she needs to finally let this rest. David has begged Vic not to do it and insists it\u2019s a huge mistake but she’s saying\u00a0 it\u2019s the only option she has left to make Rebecca go away for good and end this on-going nightmare.\u2019<\/p>\n
