Meanwhile, more recently she had an interesting exchange with radio DJ Howard Stern when he interviewed her on his show.
In what some fans described as a \u2018bit creepy\u2019 Howard told her, \u2018This whole idea that you are anti-bra\u2026 I can\u2019t tell you how long I have been against bras. I don\u2019t like them either. I know I\u2019m a dude, but you coming out as a celebrity and saying, \u2018Look I don\u2019t like wearing a bra, I\u2019m against bras.\u2019 It\u2019s fabulous and I want to thank you for that.\u2019

But Rihanna, the best-selling female recording artist of the 21st century, added that she wasn\u2019t doing it for the clicks.
She added, \u2018I get caught a lot of times without wearing a bra – but it was never my intention. If I don\u2019t wear a bra, that means I didn\u2019t want to wear a bra. It\u2019s not usually for attention, it\u2019s just because it would mess up the outfit completely.\u2019
And recalling how, as a youngster, she\u2019d been desperate to get fitted with her first bra, she revealed in a 2023 interview, \u2018I do remember begging for my first bra. I didn\u2019t even have boobs. I was like \u2018mom, can I have a bra\u2019 and she was like \u2018for what?\u2019 And I was like I just want one because you have one.\u2019
But after more than a decade of letting loose, RiRi admitted that gravity finally caught up with her in her late 20s.
\u2018When I turned 20 I stopped wearing bras for a good – almost a decade – and then I needed bras because I grew boobs all of a sudden in my late 20s and I thought you know what I\u2019m just going to make them. I made them I love them\u2026and now I need them because I had babies!\u2019
