Rocking up to the VMAS in a limousine in 2000, Jennifer Lopez and P Diddy were engulfed in a sea of fans and press just trying to grab a glimpse of the new couple who, at the time, were the epitome of 90s style \u2013 her in a diamante headband and him – a bejewelled crucifix. <\/p>\n
Yet a quarter of a century on and that prominent night has proved the scene of Diddy\u2019s remarkable downfall. In October last year \u2013 continuing an unfathomable and unrelenting string of allegations of the most sickening kind \u2013 an unknown victim, named \u2018Jane Doe\u2019, bravely stepped forward to accuse the music mogul and his former friend Jay Z, of taking it in turns to rape her at a party following the prestigious event. <\/p>\n
Having been just 13 at the time, court documents reveal how the unknown defendant alleges that a limousine driver for Diddy claimed she \u2018fit what Diddy was looking for\u2019. She claims she was then driven to a party where she was asked to sign a document \u2013 which is believed to have been a Non-Disclosure Agreement \u2013 before being given a drink that made her feel \u2018woozy\u2019 and going to lay down. She then alleges that Diddy and Jay Z – who has vehemently denied the allegations – sexually assaulted her, taking it in turns consecutively and holding her down before she managed to escape.<\/p>\n
There is currently no suggestion that JLo \u2013 who Diddy was dating between 1999 and 2001 \u2013 knew anything about the accusations or had any knowledge of his alleged actions. Photographs of the after-party that night have emerged, which show the former couple involved in a heated row that resulted in Diddy appearing to walk away and there is no evidence that JLo returned to his home, where a drug-fuelled party is said to have taken place.<\/p>\n
However, a source now exclusively reveals that Diddy, 55, who remains remanded in a New York jail, is furious that the people he believed to be his friends and loyal supporters have turned their backs on him amidst the allegations – with JLo\u2019s name topping his list.<\/p>\n

They add, \u2018He hoped she would help him and attest that he\u2019s a gentle soul who wouldn\u2019t be capable of these horrific crimes. He\u2019s very upset with a lot of people who\u2019ve washed their hands from him, but JLo is definitely right at the top of that list and he\u2019s very bitter about it.\u2019 <\/p>\n
Diddy\u2019s trial is currently underway with already three weeks of testimony having taken place. The jury has listened to allegations of kidnapping, drugging, assault and rape, with one defendant alleging that he dangled her from a balcony and threatened to kill her, while another accuses the disgraced star of plying her with drugs and forcing her to sleep with several male prostitutes during their relationship. <\/p>\n
In a court showdown that rivals the #MeToo movement and involves a public figure who for so long was worshipped by music fans as having been one of the most influential music personalities of the past three decades, the unravelling of Diddy\u2019s heinous crimes has perhaps been one of the mightiest falls the entertainment industry has ever encountered. <\/p>\n
JLo, 55, has so far declined to comment but her ex-husband Ojani Noa, whom she was married to from 1997 to 1998, has accused her of being privy to Diddy\u2019s storied abuse. In October, he alleged in an Instagram post, \u2018To those people and media outlets asking if I ever went or participated in that Piece of Sh*t (DIDDY\u2019S) Freak-Off Parties. No and No. Never. But my Ex-Wife (Jennifer Lopez) a.k.a (JLO) Did\u2026 Ask Her.\u2019<\/p>\n
While Diddy was famed for bringing the \u2018elite\u2019 together at his White Parties, darker soirees known as \u2018freak offs\u2019 \u2013 days-long orgies fuelled by drugs and involving male and female sex workers \u2013 were believed to have been happening \u2018off radar\u2019 for decades. <\/p>\n
When police officers raided the rapper’s Miami mansion, they found cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, Xanax and hallucinogenic mushrooms, alongside parts of rifles and 1000 bottles of baby oil and sex toys. <\/p>\n
The sordid photographs of the raid, however, are in stark contrast with the praise JLo has given Diddy over the past two decades, with the two reportedly having remained friends.<\/p>\n
In 2014, the singer praised her ex, who she says \u2018taught me so many things,\u2019 adding \u2018there\u2019s still so much mutual respect and admiration there.\u2019 <\/p>\n
Her comments followed Diddy\u2019s declaration that JLo had the \u2018best booty\u2019, which he described as a \u2018work of art\u2019.<\/p>\n

And as he awaits his fate having been denied bail for the third time last year, the source says Diddy is spending his time seething at those he believes have \u2018abandoned\u2019 him, including JLo, who they say he believed \u2018would be there for him as a friend no matter what.\u2019<\/p>\n
The insider adds, \u2018Day after day, night after night, he sits in his jail cell cursing his luck and ranting about the people who\u2019ve turned on him when he needs them most. Apparently, he\u2019s talking about calling those people out and even spilling some of their secrets as payback, whether he\u2019s behind bars or on the outside. <\/p>\n
But now the source says JLo has blocked all contact with him indefinitely, adding, \u2018None of these types of threats are going to make a difference to JLo – she\u2019s totally done with Diddy and not going to be intimidated by him or anyone else who makes these types of threats. <\/p>\n
\u2018It\u2019s just highly unfortunate she\u2019s attached to him at all but at the end of the day she can\u2019t change what happened in the past. He is total poison and everyone in Hollywood is avoiding him like the plague right now for obvious reasons.\u2019<\/p>\n
