However, a source told us at the time that, while \u2018bed-hopping\u2019 Kevin appeared to be having the time of his post-divorce life, the\u00a0Yellowstone\u00a0heartthrob is, deep down, much more comfortable in a serious relationship<\/p>\n
The insider told us, \u2018He\u00a0is a guy that loves to be in a relationship so it\u2019s not likely this stage will last that long. As soon as he really connects with someone he will be off the market again.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n
Now we can reveal that after flirting at a bash in December, Kevin, 70, and\u00a0Mad Men\u2019s January Jones, 47, could be set to pursue a new romance after the actress \u2018fangirled\u2019 over him on social media following the event.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Taking to her Stories, single mum January, who was pictured side-by-side with a dapper Kevin, wrote, \u2018Beautiful evening once again with the incredibly warm @brunellocucinelli_brand family. And I finally got to meet @kevincostner\u2019.<\/p>\n
At the time, fans urged Kevin to make a move, with one gushing, \u2018January Jones and Kevin Costner would make such a cute couple. Ask her out Kevin!\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n
Another added, \u2018I think Kevin and January would make a great couple! She\u2019s beautiful and sweet and seems down to earth.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n
Now our source says,\u00a0\u2018Kevin and\u00a0January\u00a0have made a connection, traded numbers and, most importantly, they’ve found a mutual attraction.\u00a0The common ground between the two of them is enormous and you can’t get around the fact that\u00a0January\u00a0is Kevin’s type and she herself has hinted at what a big fan she is of him.<\/p>\n

In December, he was then rumoured to have been attempting to woo Jennifer Lopez, 55, following her split with Ben Affleck after the pair crossed paths in Aspen, Colorado over Christmas, but so far it seems that nothing has come of the speculation.<\/p>\n
And the source says that Kevin’s pals – who we have previously revealed were concerned that the women he was meeting in nightclubs were \u2018using\u2019 him – are now rooting for him to take the next step with January.\u00a0<\/p>\n
They tell us, \u2018Kevin\u2019s inner circle is really rooting for this. They haven\u2019t seen him this excited about someone since Jewel. Granted, he and Jewel didn\u2019t go the distance, but overall it was positive.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kevin had been married for 18 years to Christine before their divorce, which sources said came as \u2018an unpleasant surprise’ and was reportedly driven by Christine\u2019s unhappiness at him spending too much away from home whilst working on US western drama,\u00a0Yellowstone.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The pair share \u00a0Cayden, 18, Hayes, 16, and Grace, 14, and he also shares Annie, 41, Lily, 38, and Joe, 37, with his first wife Cindy Silva, and Liam, 29, with actress Bridget Rooney.<\/p>\n
Opening up about his divorce last year whilst appearing on\u00a0CBS Mornings,\u00a0Kevin\u00a0described it as a \u2018crushing moment\u2019 but said he had \u2018no choice\u2019 but to move on.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0Horizon\u00a0actor added, \u2018I can\u2019t wilt like a daisy. I have to go forward. I have to continue to be who I am, and keep a special eye on who [my children] are.\u2019<\/p>\n
