So it comes as little surprise that just days after the Dark Horse singer\u2019s split from her fianc\u00e9 and partner of nine years, Orlando Bloom, was officially confirmed earlier this month following months of intense speculation, a source tells\u00a0Closer\u00a0that another very famous \u2018womanising\u2019 heartthrob already has his eye on soothing Katy\u2019s heartbreak \u2013 her ex-boyfriend, John Mayer.<\/p>\n
And while the source says he\u2019s playing the long game for now, his reputation as a smooth-talking lothario who has dated some of the biggest names in Hollywood \u2013 including Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian \u2013 means he\u2019s not likely to wait too long before attempting to ramp up their blossoming friendship.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The\u00a0insider says, \u2018John and Katy are on very good terms these days, they even hung out back in November when they were both at Sabrina Carpenter\u2019s show in L.A., so John had no qualms about reaching out to her as soon as he heard the news about her and Orlando.\u00a0<\/p>\n
