However, as maybe fitting in a feud that has rumbled on under the watchful glare of the world for so long, paparazzi photographs of the \u2018top secret\u2019 talks were later splashed over the cover of a newspaper. <\/p>\n
It\u2019s unclear why Charles\u2019 Communications Secretary Tobyn Andreae and Prince Harry and Meghan\u2019s Head of Communications ,Meredith Maines, alongside the couples\u2019 UK PR Guru, Liam Maguire, opted to have their \u2018undercover\u2019 meeting on a balcony \u2013 but it seems the rare UK sunshine means that nobody, and nothing, stays behind-closed-doors, or palace walls. <\/p>\n
But while the trio appeared in the photograph to be amicably chatting in depth , prompting speculation that some sort of \u2018deal\u2019 for a reunion between the estranged Sussexes and the Royal Family could be imminent, a source now tells Closer that Harry in particular has been left \u2018freaking out\u2019 over the shock leak. <\/p>\n
The reason? Because Harry himself has spent the last five years telling his own truths about the Royal Family through interviews and his explosive 2023 tell-all, Spare\u2013 and now the insider says \u2018the firm\u2019 have raised their doubts over what role \u2018camp Sussex\u2019 did or didn\u2019t play in this latest betrayal of trust within their inner circle. <\/p>\n
The insider tells us, \u2018Naturally the Palace is horrified and a lot of senior aides are pointing fingers at Harry and Meghan, who emphatically deny they had any part in tipping anyone off. However this is reflecting terribly on both of them at the worst possible time.<\/p>\n
\u2018What worries them is that the King will think the worst, and that\u2019s without considering the repercussions from Prince William, who reportedly has no trust in his brother.<\/p>\n
\u2018Both sides are protesting their innocence as far as spilling the beans, so there\u2019s a real mystery about how the news did get out.\u2019 <\/p>\n
Yet now, with Harry and Meghan\u2019s royal reunion potentially in jeopardy, the pair face a race against time to discover who tipped off the paparazzi or provided information about the meeting, which took place at private member\u2019s club, the Royal Over-Seas League \u2013 an ultra-exclusive club of which Charles, 76, is a patron \u2013 which is based close to the King\u2019s residence of Clarence House. <\/p>\n
Now the source says several members of the Sussexes\u2019 expansive team are set to be questioned in the coming days.<\/p>\n
