We don\u2019t know about you, but we\u2019ve been devouring all the A list \u2018secrets\u2019 coming out of the sensational Gwyneth Paltrow biography. Do you know who hasn\u2019t? Gwyn\u2019s husband Brad Falchuk.<\/p>\n
Despite Gwyneth\u2019s wealthy background, classy looks, and clean-living image, she dated some high-profile hotties who were a little rough around the edges (Brad Pitt) or straight-out bad boys (Ben Affleck) back in the day. And she\u2019s enjoyed her fair share of wild sex according to Gwyneth: The Biography by Amy Odell. The problem is, sources say, the unauthorised biography is taking a toll on their marriage.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s one thing knowing your wife dated the 90s\u2019 biggest heartthrobs, it\u2019s another to have salacious claims about their bedroom antics splashed over every newspaper, website and magazine around the world.<\/p>\n
A source, who\u2019s got the lowdown on their marriage, told us: \u201cBrad is convinced Gwyneth misses that exciting stage of her life when she was a young A-lister dating the hottest guys in Hollywood.\u201d<\/p>\n
The source explains that their marriage has not always been straightforward: \u201cThere\u2019s always been an imbalance between them, he has her up on a pedestal and Gwyneth doesn\u2019t put anyone on a pedestal. She also tends to say whatever she\u2019s thinking with zero filter – the running joke is that she has foot in mouth disease. She apologises for her missteps but that doesn\u2019t mean there\u2019s no damage done. Over the years a lot of things have been said in private and in the press that have not gone over well with Brad and those things build up.\u201d<\/p>\n
And while it\u2019s not Gwyneth, 52, herself talking about her exes, now there are all these claims leaking thanks to the tell-all book. According to Odell, Gwyneth and Ben, 52, had a red-hot sex life \u2013 which included his alleged X-rated fetish – but he was too busy drinking, gambling and hanging out with the boys to fully commit. Or how Brad Pitt, 61, who she allegedly called \u201cdumber than a sack of sh*t\u201d and had to \u2013 gasp – explain the different types of caviar on restaurant menus due to his modest Midwest upbringing. Still, the biography reveals she was completely heartbroken when he married Jennifer Aniston two years after she broke off their engagement in 1997.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s beyond emasculating even if he does laugh it off publicly.\u201d<\/p>\n
The insider adds, \u201cBrad loves Gwyneth to a fault, and he\u2019s let her get away with so much over the years, but it does seem like he\u2019s nearing the end of his rope. He feels like she\u2019s always going to have one foot in the past.\u201d<\/p>\n
So how is Gwynnie responding to this? Well, apparently she has some sympathy but she\u2019s quick to turn it back round to herself and how it\u2019s affecting her \u2013 in short, she wants him to get over it. Our source says, \u201cGwyneth\u2019s dismissing it all as harmless gossip, she\u2019s telling Brad to man up and get a grip but that\u2019s just making matters worse.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, although she\u2019s airily telling 54-year-old Brad that it\u2019s just idle tittle tattle, it\u2019s getting to her more than she admits: \u201cShe hates being out of control like this, knowing people are fixating over where things went wrong with Ben and Brad.
