Words by Charley Ross<\/strong><\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/flatplan-plus-content.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/05\/GettyImages-2215301300.jpg” alt=”Michael B Jordan” title_text=”%22Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning%22 Global Premiere – Arrivals” force_fullwidth=”on” _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”] While many celebrities have been mentioned or present in the story of Diddy\u2019s trial, the latest to enter the conversation is Michael B Jordan.<\/p>\n The actor, who recently starred in critically-acclaimed movie Sinners \u2013 playing two twins named Smoke and Stack who field attacks by a gang of vampires led by Skins star Jack O\u2019Connell \u2013 has been mentioned in both singer Cassie Ventura and an ex friend of hers\u2019 testimonies in court regarding the former\u2019s relationship with Diddy.<\/p>\n Ventura has testified in court that while she was in a relationship with Diddy, he was jealous of her connection with the Sinners star, and suspected her of having an affair with him.<\/p>\n Anna Estevao, one of Diddy\u2019s lawyers, asked Ventura about her time filming Honey 3 in South Africa, and who Diddy suspected her of having a relationship with during that time. She responded with Jordan\u2019s name, while also confirming that seeing a photo of Diddy with another woman had made her \u2018angry\u2019 around the same time.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/flatplan-plus-content.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/05\/GettyImages-2215285603.jpg” alt=”Michael B Jordan” title_text=”%22Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning%22 Global Premiere – Arrivals” _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_code _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_code][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”] Ventura\u2019s initial 2023 lawsuit against Diddy referenced Jordan, describing a \u2018flirtatious relationship with an actor\u2019 during a reported brief breakup between herself and Diddy. She also accused Diddy of calling and threatening Jordan after she had spent New Year\u2019s Eve with the Sinners star.<\/p>\n A former friend of Ventura\u2019s \u2013 Californian model Kerry Morgan \u2013 corroborated her testimony on day six of the trial, she said: \u2018Cassie was speaking with Michael B Jordan and Sean got jealous. She was trying to leave him.\u2019<\/p>\n \u2018They were not together, and he was jealous about it,\u2019 Morgan also said, referring to the fact that Cassie and Diddy weren\u2019t together at the time but it still bothered him.<\/p>\n \u2018I remember she started talking to Michael B Jordan before she went to South Africa, and I remember them not being together when she went there to film a movie,\u2019 Morgan told defence lawyer Marc Agnifilo.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text module_class=”custom-quote” _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” header_2_font=”Libre Bodoni|||on|||||” header_2_text_align=”center” header_2_text_color=”#333333″ header_2_font_size=”40px” header_2_line_height=”1.2em” global_colors_info=”{}”] \u2018What I remember was that she was speaking to Michael B Jordan and they hung out together and [Diddy] was jealous of it.\u2019<\/p>\n Morgan also answered questions around whether she remembered Ventura dancing with rapper and singer Chris Brown and if Diddy was angry about this, to which she answered that she didn\u2019t recall her dancing with Brown.<\/p>\n There was also conversation around whether Morgan recalled Ventura being jealous of Diddy\u2019s ex-partner and mother to three of his children, Kim Porter. They dated for 13 years, and she sadly passed away back in November 2018.<\/p>\n People have also confirmed that jurors were asked if they were familiar with a number of celebrities \u2013 whether they had strong opinions on them, or inside information, to try and eliminate anyone with too-close ties \u2013 including Jordan, but the actor is not expected to testify at the trial himself due to the fact that he isn\u2019t accused of any crimes or directly connected to any accusations, he won\u2019t appear in court.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/flatplan-plus-content.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/05\/GettyImages-911123888.jpg” alt=”Diddy Cassie” title_text=”2018 Roc Nation THE BRUNCH” _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”] Other celebrity names \u2013 a list which has been described by USA Today as \u2018a who’s who of Hollywood and music elite\u2019 \u2013 included rappers Kid Cudi and Yung Miami, Kanye West, comedian Mike Myers, Destiny\u2019s Child singer Michelle Williams, Dallas Austin, Lauren London, Dawn Richard and, of course, Ventura herself.<\/p>\n Cudi\u2019s involvement also seems to be linked with his past relationship with Ventura, and Diddy\u2019s reaction to it. During her testimony, she described having a burner phone that she would use to contact Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi) during her relationship with Diddy. She admitted that she \u2018did not want [Diddy] to find out\u2019 about her continued connection with Cudi.<\/p>\n Ventura recalled that she was introduced to Cudi by Diddy in 2011, and they then made music together and started dating. She describes Diddy finding her burner phone and putting a wine opener in his hands and lunging at her in reaction. Ventura also testified that herself and Cudi broke up initially because Diddy threatened them both.<\/p>\n \u2018Sean said he was going to hurt the both of us,’ she said.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”] \u2018I had broken off the relationship with Scott Mescudi, [there was] too much uncertainty if we continued to see each other,\u2019 she confirmed during her testimony on Wednesday.<\/p>\n The 2023 lawsuit filed by Ventura also alleged that Diddy threatened to \u2018blow up’ Cudi\u2019s car in retaliation, and \u2018around that time, Kid Cudi\u2019s car exploded in his driveway\u2019. This account of events was corroborated by Cudi\u2019s representatives to the New York Times that same year. \u2018This is all true,\u2019 a spokesperson said. Incidentally, Diddy has been accused of \u2018acts of violence [including] arson\u2019, but denies being involved in the car incident.<\/p>\n Diddy has also denied the allegations made in Cassie\u2019s 2023 lawsuit, insisting that settling was not an admission of wrongdoing. \u201cMr. Combs\u2019 decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims,\u201d a statement said.
