He announced on his New Heights podcast that he would not be retiring just yet, and won\u2019t be stepping down from the game just yet \u2013 determined to leave his sports career on a high. This means ditching the celebrity party circuit and living a quieter, healthier, more disciplined life as he trains. And who knows, maybe Swift\u2019s relative peace and quiet means she\u2019s busy at work on her next album?<\/p>\n This period has been referred to as the singer\u2019s \u2018gap year\u2019, giving Swift the chance to dedicate herself to quality time with Kelce, after 21 months on her Eras tour. They\u2019ve still got plenty of time for chills, seeing as the new sports season doesn\u2019t start for Kelce until September. On top of their crazy schedules, Swift has been fielding attacks from none other than the President of the United States himself, Donald Trump.<\/p>\n Back in September 2024, he posted on TruthSocial (a social media service launched by Trump Media in 2022): \u201cI HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!\u2019, a post that got 12,500 reTruths. He then followed this up last week with another post on TruthSocial: “”Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer \u2018HOT?’\u201d.<\/p>\n When a Fox News journalist asked \u2018What does President Trump mean when he says that Taylor Swift is no longer hot?\u2019, White House representative and press secretary Karoline Leavitt responded \u201cLook, he is speaking about Taylor Swift’s political views and how perhaps it has impacted the support of the American public for her work. I will leave it at that.\u201d<\/p>\n The initial message of Trump\u2019s \u201chate\u201d for Swift came after she openly criticised the use of fake AI-generated photos of herself that had been used to promote Trump\u2019s campaign, while simultaneously endorsing Kamala Harris\u2019 in the presidential election late last year.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″] “Recently I was made aware that AI of \u2018me\u2019 falsely endorsing Donald Trump\u2019s presidential run was posted to his site,\u201d she wrote on Instagram. \u201cIt really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.<\/p>\n \u201cI will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I\u2019m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman\u2019s right to her own body for decades.\u201d<\/p>\n This came after fans pressured Swift to speak out on her political views, especially after speculation that she was a closet Republican and Trump supporter amid her public friendships with figures such as American footballer Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kelce\u2019s fellow Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick. Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment, and he countersued for defamation. Relationships have reportedly soured, with Kelce recently unfollowing Lively\u2019s husband Ryan Reynolds on Instagram.
