Combs \u2013 best known by his rap name P. Diddy \u2013 is facing federal charges related to sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, after he was arrested in September last year. Combs has pleaded not guilty and denies any wrongdoing, saying his sexual relationships were consensual.<\/p>\n The trial started with testimony from his ex-partner of 11 years, singer Cassie Ventura. In November 2024, she sued the rapper for sexual assault and abuse \u2013 and the lawsuit was settled for $20million.<\/p>\n Since then more shocking allegations and testimony has been heard by the court. Here are some of the biggest bombshells from the trial so far, which could last up to 10 weeks. If Combs is found guilty, he could spend the rest of his life behind bars.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text module_class=”custom-quote” _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” header_2_font=”Libre Bodoni|||on|||||” header_2_text_align=”center” header_2_text_color=”#333333″ header_2_font_size=”40px” header_2_line_height=”1.2em” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″] When taking the stand, Kid Cudi alleged Combs blew up his car, after finding out about his short-lived romance with Combs\u2019 former partner Cassie Ventura in 2011. Cudi \u2013 real name Scott Mescudi \u2013 says he believed Ventura and Combs were no longer dating. Cudi compared Combs to a \u2018Marvel supervillain\u2019 when they met at Soho House to discuss the incident, as he was staring out the window with his hands behind his back. Cudi also said Combs claimed he didn\u2019t know anything about the car: \u2018He looked right back at me, very cold stare, and said \u201cI don’t know what you’re talking about.\u201d\u2019<\/p>\n Throughout the trial there have been allegations Combs would become violent towards Ventura over trivial matters. When singer Dawn Richard testified at the trial, she alleged that Combs beat Ventura when she took too long to cook dinner in 2009 \u2013 with Combs shouting: \u2018Where\u2019s my fucking egg?\u2019<\/p>\n \u2018He took the skillet with the eggs in it and tried to hit her in the head, and she fell to the ground,\u2019 she alleged. Richards claims that Combs then dragged Ventura upstairs by her hair, and that she later heard breaking glass and screaming. \u2018I was scared if I intervened, it might get worse,\u2019 Richards added in her testimony.<\/p>\n Special Agent Yasin Binda testified about the items she found in Combs\u2019 Manhattan hotel room at the time of his arrest in September 2024, images of which were released to NBC News, which have since been widely circulated.<\/p>\n Binda testified that she found numerous bottles of baby oil and lubricant, two bags of a pink drug as well as a bag with $9,000 inside. The bags of drugs later tested positive for ketamine and a mix of ketamine and MDMA. Binda also said she found a light which she would describe \u2018as potentially mood lighting\u2019. (Ventura had earlier testified similar lights were used during \u2018freak-offs\u2019.)<\/p>\n A former assistant to Combs said he did not intervene when Ventura was allegedly beaten by Combs on his private jet. Former personal assistant George Kaplan claims Combs attacked Ventura on a flight to Las Vegas in 2015, and that he heard screams and the sounds of shattering glass coming from the bedroom on the jet. Explaining why he didn\u2019t act, Kaplan said: \u2018I was 23 years old. All I wanted to do was have a great job in the entertainment industry.\u2019 He later quit his role as Combs\u2019 assistant.<\/p>\n Ventura says that \u2013 initially \u2013 she consented to drug-fuelled \u2018freak-offs\u2019. She said Combs first suggested \u2018this sexual encounter that he called voyeurism, where he would watch me have a sexual encounter with a third man\u2019 in 2007. She told the jury she first agreed, as she was \u2018in love and wanted to make him happy\u2019. \u2018I didn’t want to upset him if I said it scared me or if I said anything aside from, \u201cOK, let’s try it,\u201d\u2019 she added in her testimony.<\/p>\n Ventura also claimed that it became her responsibility to find male escorts online, from websites like Craigslist and Cowboys for Angels, and that Combs would allegedly have to approve each escort.<\/p>\n She testified that Combs, and male escorts, would urinate on her \u2013 which she called \u2018too much\u2019 and \u2018disgusting\u2019. \u2018I choked,\u2019 she told the jury.<\/p>\n Ventura cried on the stand, claiming Combs hit her during freak-offs, saying she felt like \u2018dirt\u2019. She said she was worried Combs wouldn\u2019t love her anymore.
