But no, the Duchess of Sussex flies commercial. And apparently, unlike many celebrities, she\u2019s a delight to serve.<\/p>\n One flight attendant recently recounted her experience with Markle on TikTok, and she couldn\u2019t have been more excited.\u00a0 \u2018You guys will not believe who I had on my flight, who I had a pleasure of serving,\u2019 Nina Vida began, wearing her American Airlines uniform. \u2018The queen, the princess, the Duchess of Sussex.\u2019 Vida went on to call Markle \u2018so sweet\u2019 and \u2018so beautiful in person\u2019.<\/p>\n But for Vida the most exciting part was Markle leaving her a hand-written note \u2013 the style of which was giving \u2018rich\u2019 and \u2018princess\u2019, she claimed.<\/p>\n First, Vida and her fellow crew left Markle a short letter, saying it was a \u2018pleasure\u2019 to serve her. And in a sweet response, Markle put pen to napkin, writing: \u2018Dear AA girlies, thank you for the love, hospitality and handwritten note \u2014 you know me well. All love right back to you.\u2019 She signed it \u2018As Ever, Meghan\u2019, which you probably know is a nod to her new lifestyle brand.<\/p>\n And those who are real Markle fans might be aware from her The Tig days that she adores letters and notes. (In fact, around that time, she wrote a piece for Grazia about calligraphy.) \u2018I think handwritten notes are a lost art form,\u2019 she previously wrote on The Tig. \u2018The idea of someone taking the time to put pen to paper is really special.\u2019<\/p>\n Markle is also known for always having immaculate nails \u2013 she recently revealed she layers two shades of CND Shellac polish to achieve her signature \u2018squoval\u2019 pink look \u2013 and Vida’s pink set of ombre nails had her seal of approval. \u2018She also said she loved my nails, and the captain on my last flight said they were intense,\u2019 she added. \u2018So, sir, it doesn’t matter what you think. The queen says she likes them.\u2019<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text module_class=”custom-quote” _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” header_2_font=”Libre Bodoni|||on|||||” header_2_text_align=”center” header_2_text_color=”#333333″ header_2_font_size=”40px” header_2_line_height=”1.2em” global_colors_info=”{}”] Vida wasn\u2019t the only one buzzing about the encounter, as TikTokers were quick to share their excitement. \u2018Laminate it, frame it, put it in a lock box at the bank,\u2019 one commented. Another added Markle was \u2018walking the walk she talks\u2019 for flying commercial \u2013 which, to be honest, we can\u2019t argue with.<\/p>\n Since becoming the host of her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan<\/em>, earlier this year, it seems like we\u2019re all finding more out about Markle. Last month, for the first time since meeting Prince Harry, Markle was interviewed on a podcast by her friend: IT Cosmetics founder Jamie Kem Lima. And luckily for listeners, she didn\u2019t hold back.<\/p>\n In the chat, she revealed that she\u2019s still very in love with Harry. \u2018If you haven\u2019t noticed, my husband is very, very handsome,\u2019 she said, calling him a \u2018fox\u2019. \u2018But his heart is even more beautiful.\u2019 But, during the discussion, she also made a not-so-subtle swipe at the Royal Family \u2013 saying that during the early days, she felt like they were landed into a war zone.<\/p>\n \u2018You have to imagine at the beginning, everyone has, like, butterflies,\u2019 she said. \u2018Then we immediately went into the trenches together. Yeah, right out of the gate, like six months into dating.\u2019 In fact, she even said that she feels like they\u2019re going through \u2018more of a honeymoon period\u2019 now. \u2018So now, seven years later, when you have a little bit of breathing space, you can just enjoy each other in a new way,\u2019 she added.<\/p>\n You might remember, what Markle was probably hinting at was the media furore unleashed when it was discovered that the pair were dating in 2016. So vile was the tabloid coverage and abuse, the Royal Family released an unprecedented statement condemning \u2018the smear on the front page of a national newspaper; the racial undertones of comment pieces; and the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and Web article comments\u2019.<\/p>\n It was a few years later, in 2021, that Meghan and Prince Harry opened up about the traumatic time to Oprah, with Markle saying she \u2018couldn\u2019t be left alone’ and \u2018didn\u2019t want to be alive anymore\u2019. She also alleged that the Royal Family wouldn\u2019t let her get support for her mental health, as it would damage their reputation. ‘I said that I needed to go somewhere to get help,\u2019 she said at the time. \u2018I said that \u201cI’ve never felt this way before, and I need to go somewhere\u201d. And I was told that I couldn’t, that it wouldn’t be good for the institution.\u2019<\/p>\n But, thankfully, Markle seems to be in a far better place now.
