But there\u2019s still one pretty big building block in the way of their split \u2013 their multi-million dollar Beverly Hills marital home, which they\u2019ve been trying to sell since last summer.<\/p>\n Initially, the 12 bedroom, 24-bathroom property (yes, you read that right) was put on the market last July for $68 million. But that proved to be a tiny bit too expensive, as their estate agents later slashed the price to $60million \u2013 what the couple originally paid for the property in 2023.<\/p>\n It might be spenny, but it\u2019s easy to see why the house has such an eye-watering price tag: as well as 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms, the 38,000 square foot house also has a guest penthouse, a two-bedroom guardhouse, a 12-car garage, basketball courts and a pickleball court. (Oh, and of course, there\u2019s mountain views too.)<\/p>\n It kind of sounds like the house \u2013 and drama \u2013 you\u2019d expect to see on an episode of Selling Sunset. And apparently Ben is so desperate to cut remaining ties with Jen he\u2019s willing to decrease the price of the property even further. A source told The Daily Mail: \u2018Ben and J.Lo slashed the price on their Beverly Hills mansion for $8 million less than they paid for it, but this is nothing to Ben. Initially, they tried to sell their home off-market for $65 million, which later fell through. And after listing the mansion publicly for $68 million last summer, there was a $64million offer \u2013 which again fell through.<\/p>\n But, regardless of whether or not they flog the property, according to the source Ben is aware Jen will always be in his life \u2013 and that\u2019s because their kids, who are similar ages, are all \u2018best friends\u2019. J.Lo has twins Max and Emme, 17, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, meanwhile Ben has three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner – Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13.<\/p>\n It was in 2021 Bennifer rekindled their love story, sending the world (and Grazia) into a frenzy when news emerged their romance was back on the cards, 20 years after they called off their engagement. The pair married in Vegas a couple of years later, but, alas, all good things must come to an end, and J.Lo filed for divorce in August 2024. They finalised their divorce in January this year, with Jen dropping Affleck from her name.<\/p>\n As for Jennifer\u2019s dating life, it\u2019s believed the actress-slash-singer is single, though dating rumours were swirling in April while she was filming Netflix rom-com Office Romance, which also stars Ted Lasso\u2019s Brett Goldstein. He is like the younger, better, British version of Ben. She thinks he is very cute.\u2019<\/p>\n And on Ben\u2019s side, despite the whole house drama, he recently insisted there wasn\u2019t a \u2018major fracture\u2019 behind their split. ‘There’s a tendency to look at break-ups and want to identify root causes or something,\u2019 he told GQ magazine. \u2018But honestly \u2026 the truth is much more quotidian than probably people would believe or would be interesting,’ he shared. ‘There’s no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue [about our divorce]. The truth is, when you talk to somebody, “Hey, what happened?” Well, there is no, ‘”This is what happened.”‘<\/p>\n What he did acknowledge was they both have differing attitudes to fame, and how they deal with it. \u2018My temperament is to be a little bit more reserved and private than hers,\u2019 he added.
