The Euphoria<\/em> star, 27, says while she can get \u2018really bad stage fright\u2019 doing theatre or talk shows, she isn\u2019t at all bothered by filming intimate scenes.<\/p>\n \u2018I don\u2019t get nervous,\u2019 she told W Magazine<\/em>. \u2018I think that the female body is a very powerful thing. And I\u2019m telling my character\u2019s story, so I owe it to them to tell it well and to do what needs to be done.\u2019 She also added she has \u2018gained so much confidence and self-awareness\u2019 since playing troubled teenager Cassie on Euphoria<\/em>, a role she\u2019s had since 2019.<\/p>\n It’s not the first time Sydney has discussed nudity on screen, as she previously told the Independent she\u2019s spoken to creator Sam Levinson when she didn\u2019t think nudity was needed in Euphoria<\/em>. \u2018There are moments where Cassie was supposed to be\u00a0shirtless\u00a0and I would tell Sam, \u201cI don\u2019t really think that\u2019s necessary here\u201d and he was like, \u201cOK, we don\u2019t need it,\u201d\u2019 she said, adding she never felt \u2018pushed\u2019 to be topless on camera.<\/p>\n Off screen, the actress recently raised eyebrows with her new business venture \u2013 turning her bathwater into soap. (Yep, you read that correctly.)<\/p>\n \u2018When your fans start asking for your bathwater, you can either ignore it, or turn it into a bar of soap,\u2019 Sweeney joked in a press release. And apparently it wasn\u2019t just a gimmick, as she added she was happy the product \u2018actually smells incredible and delivers like every other Dr. Squatch product I love\u2019. And the price tag for the soap? Glen Powell\u2019s ex Gigi Paris recently gave an interview, commenting on the rumours that Sydney’s friendship with her Anyone But You<\/em> co-star – and Paris’ ex – Glen Powell contributed to their break-up. \u00a0<\/p>\n \u2018I\u00a0had two options,\u2019 she told Emma Klipstein on the\u00a0Too Much podcast. \u2018I could either pretend like I was going along with everything and have everyone wonder, like, \u201cAre they hooking up? Are they not hooking up? Is she okay with this? What the f***?\u201d Or stand up for myself and say, \u201cNo, I’m actually not okay with this, and I’m walking away.\u201d So that’s what I decided to do\u2026 I was shattered.\u2019<\/p>\n It seems Gigi\u2019s issue at the time was that she didn\u2019t think Glen was strong enough in his denial that anything was going on between him and Sydney. \u2018Where are you when you just need to stand up and say, \u201cNo, I would never cheat on my girlfriend. But a source told TMZ that Sydney and Glen were only there \u2018as friends\u2019, and explained the actress is \u2018very good friends with the Powell family\u2019 and has been \u2018close\u2019 with Leslie \u2018for a long time\u2019.<\/p>\n Glen\u2019s mum Cyndy even got involved, later clarifying \u2018they\u2019re definitely not together\u2019 in an interview with the MailOnline. \u2018They\u2019ve been friends for so long,\u2019 she added, calling the dating rumours \u2018silly\u2019. \u2018They\u2019ve known each other for so long and they\u2019ve both been single and together and with other people.\u2019 \u2018We love Sydney,\u2019 she added. \u2018We\u2019ve considered her just a really, really good friend. We all were together so much, and we haven\u2019t seen her in a long time. She\u2019s really a friend and we all enjoy her.\u2019<\/p>\n It\u2019s believed Glen is single right now, following his split from Gigi. But for anyone wanting to date Glen, bad news: Cyndy says it just isn\u2019t the time for him to settle down. \u2018He\u2019s too busy right now,\u2019 she said. \u2018But he\u2019s a family man. He wants a family and he wants his happily ever after.
