The pair have been engaged since 2019, and they share daughter Daisy, but recently, there\u2019s been headlines there might be trouble in paradise. On June 13, a source told People the pair were \u2018pretty much done\u2019 adding they \u2018don\u2019t really see them being able to turn things around\u2019. The source continued: \u2018It\u2019s been breaking down the last couple of months and isn\u2019t looking good.\u2019 Eek.<\/p>\n Adding more fuel to the fire, during a recent appearance at a gay club night in Melbourne, Australia, Katy could be seen singing without her signature ruby engagement ring. Orlando proposed to Katy on Valentine\u2019s Day 2019 with a gorgeous flower ring – rumoured to be worth a staggering $5million – but instead, she switched the showstopper ring for a plain silver band.<\/p>\n And again, there was further speculation when it was revealed Orlando will make his way alone to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and journalist Lauren Sanchez\u2019s wedding in Venice later this month\u2026 But there\u2019s actually a logical explanation for that, as Katy is currently on a string of Australian tour dates \u2013 which were in the diary well before the wedding.<\/p>\n It might not all be doom and gloom, as there have been some recent signs their relationship might be OK. There was a fun segment at a concert recently where Katy called out a fan for \u2018DMing Orlando\u2019. (It was just a bit of fun, and actually just a segue into her song I\u2019m His, He\u2019s Mine.) (Model Emily Ratajkowski summed up a lot of people\u2019s thoughts when she took aim at Katy, questioning: \u2018Saying that you care about Mother Earth and it\u2019s about Mother Earth and you\u2019re going up in a spaceship that is built and paid for by a company that\u2019s single handedly destroying the planet?\u2019) \u2018From day one, Orlando didn\u2019t think going on the Blue Origin mission was a good idea, and knew she would face backlash,\u2019 a source told the paper. Grazia have approached representatives of Katy and Orlando for comment.<\/p>\n While they might not be married to each other yet, both A-listers have been wed before. Katy was briefly married to comedian Russell Brand from 2009-2011. (Separately, Brand is currently facing charges of rape, sexual assault and indecent assault, and pleaded not guilty at a recent court hearing.) Orlando was married to model Miranda Kerr from 2010-2013 \u2013 they share son Flynn, who is now 14. Both Katy and Miranda get along \u2013 with Katy saying in 2023 that she felt like she\u2019d gained a \u2018sister\u2019.<\/p>\n Orlando and Katy were supposed to get married in the summer of 2020 \u2013 but we all know what delayed it: the pandemic. \u2018It was all set for Japan with 150 guests,\u2019 a source told People at the time. \u2018Katy was actually really excited about walking down the aisle pregnant. They were both so elated that all the wedding details were finally coming together, but they are hitting pause because of coronavirus.\u2019<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text module_class=”custom-quote” _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” header_2_font=”Libre Bodoni|||on|||||” header_2_text_align=”center” header_2_text_color=”#333333″ header_2_font_size=”40px” header_2_line_height=”1.2em” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”] And before they got engaged, the pair did split for a year, something Katy recently opened up about on Alex Cooper\u2019s Call Her Daddy podcast. She told listeners the pair broke up in 2017, as Orlando was more committed to the relationship than she was \u2013 and that he told Katy he was fed up of playing a \u2018cat-mouse game\u2019 after he returned from a week-long retreat, which led her to leave him. It was only a year later, after Katy went to same retreat at the Hoffman Institute, they reunited.<\/p>\n She also revealed they had a less-than romantic first meeting \u2013 as they argued over an In-N-Out burger after attending the Golden Globes in 2016. Their relationship also started on rocky ground, as they were at different stages with dating. \u2018He had just done a huge time of celibacy, and he had set intentions,\u2019 she said. \u2018I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was just like, \u201cI can’t do this anymore. I need to go swim in a different pond,\u201d but I had yet to do a lot of real work.\u2019<\/p>\n Katy also spoke about their differing personalities, and how Orlando supports her day-to-day. \u2018We all have our strengths and then our opportunities for growth,\u2019 she continued. \u2018But one of his strengths [is] when I crumble, he can step in and be that anchor. That’s amazing because I’m usually just alpha, alpha, you know? I’m like testosterone, testosterone. \u201cI got this. I don’t need any help,\u201d but actually I do need help.
