Clear your chat history? Delete their number? Unfollow them on social media? Well, it seems we might have confirmation Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez are no longer on the best of terms \u2013 as the pair have unfollowed each other on Instagram.<\/p>\n You might remember, Hailey and Selena have long been plagued by feud rumours \u2013 as Hailey is married to Selena\u2019s ex, Justin Bieber. But that\u2019s not the only reason the pair aren\u2019t the best of friends. The internet set alight in October 2023, when Kylie Jenner and Hailey were accused of making fun of Selena\u2019s eyebrows. While Kylie and Selena jumped online to say there wasn\u2019t any drama, Hailey opted to keep quiet. But a few hours later, Selena seemingly backtracked \u2013 commenting \u2018I love you\u2019 on a since-deleted TikTok which called out the \u2018mean girls\u2019.<\/p>\n And that wasn\u2019t it either. Selena is famously besties with Taylor Swift, and she commented on an old video of Hailey pretending to gag at the mention of one of the world\u2019s most famous popstars. \u2018So sorry,\u2019 Selena wrote, sticking up for her friend, \u2018my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game\u2019.<\/p>\n But then, despite all the digital drama, Hailey and Selena seemed to make up. A month later, Selena addressed her followers \u2013 and asked for them to leave Hailey alone. \u2018Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity,\u2019 she said. \u2018This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.\u2019<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/flatplan-plus-content.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/06\/GettyImages-1653912862-1-scaled.jpg” alt=”Hailey and Justin Bieber” title_text=”Celebrities Attend The 2023 US Open Tennis Championships – Day 5″ _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″] Hailey then refollowed Selena on Instagram, and thanked the actress for trying to stop the trolling. \u2018I want to thank Selena for speaking out, as her and I have been discussing how to move past this ongoing narrative between her and I,\u2019 she said. \u2018In the end, I believe love will always be bigger than hate and negativity, and there is always an opportunity to meet each other with more empathy and compassion.\u2019<\/p>\n Plus, Hailey has always denied rumours she dated Justin at the same time as Selena, telling Alex Cooper\u2019s Call Her Daddy podcast in 2022: \u2018I can say, period, point \u2013 blank, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody, that’s the end of it.\u2019<\/p>\n But their truce may well be over, as fans have now noticed the pair have both hit unfollow. It might not be that dramatic \u2013 as the answer could be they just don\u2019t feel the need to follow each other anymore. (It\u2019s understandable; be honest, do you follow your ex\u2019s partner?)<\/p>\n Anyway, you\u2019ve probably seen \u2013 and heard \u2013 Selena is now head over heels in love with one of music\u2019s most in-demand producers, Benny Blanco. The pair are engaged, and released their album, I Said I Love You First, in March.<\/p>\n And if you\u2019re wondering, apparently it was the singer who told Benny she loved him first. While promoting the album Benny revealed Selena let it slip after coming out of anaesthesia for surgery on her hand \u2013 he then added he was going to say ily later, but Selena beat him to it again. \u2018I was in New York City, and I was like, \u201cOK, I’m going to do it.\u201d I have this whole thing planned,\u2019 he said on the Today show. \u2018And I was laying in bed with her and we’re about to say it and she says it before me.\u2019<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/flatplan-plus-content.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/06\/GettyImages-2202914659-scaled.jpg” _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” theme_builder_area=”post_content” alt=”Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco” title_text=”97th Annual Oscars – Roaming Red Carpet” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text module_class=”custom-quote” _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” header_2_font=”Libre Bodoni|||on|||||” header_2_text_align=”center” header_2_text_color=”#333333″ header_2_font_size=”40px” header_2_line_height=”1.2em” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”] They\u2019re certainly not in as much of a rush to get married though, and they\u2019ve pretty much confirmed they won\u2019t be tying the knot this year, as Selena films the fifth season of Only Murders In The Building, and Benny works on music projects. \u2018So to be honest, I’m just enjoying us in this moment,\u2019 Selena added. \u2018And then we’ll get to start the craziness.\u2019<\/p>\n In other news, rumours are swirling Hailey and Justin \u2013 who married in 2018, and welcomed baby boy Jack Blues last year \u2013 could be heading for a split. Almost like Selena and Hailey, the rumours were largely prompted by Justin unfollowing his wife on Instagram. (He later claimed that he didn\u2019t do it, writing: \u2018Someone just went on my account and unfollowed my wife. Shit is getting suss out here.\u2019)<\/p>\n And, last week, Hailey was spotted out without her wedding ring. But it might all be OK \u2013 as she did address the speculation online in an interview with Vogue last month. \u2018Well, I thought seven years in it would\u2019ve [died down] already, and it hasn\u2019t,\u2019 she said. \u2018You would think after having a child, people would maybe move on, chill out a little bit, but no.
