It\u2019s not exactly a secret Harry doesn\u2019t have an ideal relationship with the rest of the Royal Family, since the pair ceased their duties as working royals in January 2020. And earlier this year, Harry spoke about the royal rift in a now infamous interview with the BBC, where he pleaded to patch things up with his father.<\/p>\n In the chat \u2013 which happened after a court ruling about how much security Harry receives while he\u2019s in the UK \u2013 he gave an emotional plea to King Charles, saying: \u2018I don’t know how much longer my father has, he won’t speak to me because of this security stuff but it would be nice to reconcile.\u2019<\/p>\n Harry also said he missed where he grew up, and that he was \u2018quite sad\u2019 his kids Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 3, wouldn\u2019t be able to experience it. \u2018I miss the UK, I miss parts of the UK, of course I do,\u2019 he revealed, \u2018and I think that it’s really quite sad that I won’t be able to show my children my homeland.\u2019<\/p>\n Now, a source tells RadarOnline Harry is thinking of travelling to the UK on his own to try and repair things with his family, with sources claiming it might only be without his wife talks can happen. \u2018Harry didn’t expect the fallout to drag on this long,\u2019 the source said. \u2018He’s beginning to see that including Meghan only complicates things with the royals, so he’s accepted \u2013 though not happily \u2013 that going it alone might be the only option for now.\u2019<\/p>\n The publication continues, adding Harry is now willing to try any lines of communication \u2013 including \u2018one-on-one conversations, mediation, or even video calls\u2019 \u2013 to try and mend things.<\/p>\n \u2018It’s incredibly hard for him,\u2019 the source continues. \u2018He cares deeply for Meghan, but he can’t deny the reality of the situation anymore. Would Harry go to the UK on his own, without his wife, when the pair seem to be stronger than ever? It\u2019s debatable \u2013 and we\u2019ll have to keep our eyes out if Harry does indeed make the journey on his own.<\/p>\n In contrast, The Telegraph has recently reported that, with fears rising about King Charles health, that when the time comes Harry and Meghan will still be central to funeral plans for the monarch, with the publication claiming \u2018the Sussexes remain enveloped in the King\u2019s funeral plans at the highest level, with [Harry] expected to walk side by side with his brother [William]\u2019. The paper notes there\u2019s no suggestion this will happen soon, just that royal funerals are planned years and years in advance.<\/p>\n \u2018The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be invited to take part in the family vigil during the lying in state at Westminster Hall and play a prominent role alongside the most senior royals during the funeral service,’ the paper adds. They also note arrangements would be made for Archie and Lilibet to attend as well.<\/p>\n And woman&home’s Royal Editor, Emma Shacklock, has said the supposed plans made sense. \u2018If the Sussexes were included in King Charles’s funeral plans I wouldn’t be surprised,\u2019 she said. \u2018After all, Harry is his youngest son and a State Funeral is a very ceremonial as well as personal occasion for the royals. It’s also not something that’s limited to working royals.
