That means one partner lies on the floor with their knees bent and feet planted firmly on the bed, while the other lies backward on top of them, with their vulva in the giving partners face and head resting on their knees. It provides the ultimate access to every part of the vulva, similar to face-sitting but this time you get to lie back instead of holding yourself in position worrying you might suffocate your partner.<\/p>\n
With that in mind, it\u2019s worth mentioning that the majority of your weight will be on your partners chest (that\u2019s where your bum goes) so if you want to hold yourself up a bit by planting your own feet and hands in the ground, feel free \u2013 depends on how lazy you truly feel like being!<\/p>\n

But that\u2019s the other thing, what\u2019s with the name? Is it just a suitably lazy riff on the 69 position or is there more to it? Turns out, the former.<\/p>\n

According to those who\u2019ve tried it, the 68-sex position is proving more popular than the 69 because it takes the pressure off both performing at once. \u2018I actually hate the 69-sex position for that reason,\u2019 agrees Charlotte*, 27 from London. \u2018It\u2019s the least efficient sex position ever, I can\u2019t focus on what I\u2019m doing because of what\u2019s being done to me, but I also can\u2019t fully relax into enjoying myself because I have my own job to do!\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018I\u2019d much prefer to take turns,\u2019 agrees Rachel*, 26 from Essex. \u2018I feel like the 69 position is just for show to be honest, I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever came doing it and vice versa for the guys I\u2019ve done it with!\u2019<\/p>\n
But would men really agree? Certainly, they\u2019re getting the raw end of the deal with the 68-sex position so can they jump on board with prioritising our pleasure for once?<\/p>\n
