Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni might not be heading to court until March 2026, but when they do they won\u2019t be alone.<\/p>\n Reports suggest Lively\u2019s friends, including Taylor Swift, who was allegedly referred to as \u2018one of my dragons\u2019 in a text from Lively to Baldoni, and Hugh Jackman, who starred alongside Lively\u2019s husband Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool & Wolverine and spent time with the couple as the feud played out. According to the Daily Mail<\/em>, both stars will \u2018definitely be served this week\u2019.<\/p>\n A subpoena is a written command ordering a person to attend court. \u2018It could happen at any time,\u2019 an insider told the publication, who added that Swift has been \u2018waiting\u2019. In Baldoni\u2019s lawsuit, he alleges that he was invited to Lively and Reynolds\u2019 New York penthouse where one of her \u2018famous and famously close\u2019 friends, widely thought to be Swift, praised her rewrites of the script. Baldoni then included text messages allegedly from Lively where she wrote, \u2018If you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones<\/em>, you\u2019ll appreciate that I\u2019m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons.\u2019<\/p>\n \u2018For better or worse, but usually better,\u2019 she wrote. \u2018Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you.\u2019<\/p>\n The publication of this exchanged unwittingly dragged Swift into an incredibly messy and highly publicised feud. According to Page Six<\/em>\u2019s source, Swift \u2018can\u2019t help but feel used\u2019 by Lively. However, another source said the singer \u2018is a strong woman\u2019 who is \u2018not afraid\u2019 of being dragged into the drama. Apparently, Lively has offered her friend a \u2018heartfelt apology\u2019 and Swift is \u2018ready to move forward\u2019.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text module_class=”custom-quote” _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” header_2_font=”Libre Bodoni|||on|||||” header_2_text_align=”center” header_2_text_color=”#333333″ header_2_font_size=”40px” header_2_line_height=”1.2em” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″] If only it were that simple. This is a feud that started on the set of the adaptation of Colleen Hoover\u2019s best-selling novel, It Ends With Us<\/em>, and will continue into next year. After evident tension between the cast when the film came out, with Baldoni and Lively avoiding each other during red carpet appearances and press junkets, it came to a head at the end of December when Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni accusing him of sexual harassment and launching a smear campaign to destroy her reputation during the press run. <\/p>\n Baldoni\u2019s team called the allegations \u2018categorically false\u2019 and filed their own counter lawsuit the same day. In response to the New York Times<\/em> article that first reported Lively\u2019s claims, Baldoni\u2019s lawyers filed a $250 million (\u00a3187.9 million) libel lawsuit again the publication. He then filed a $400 million (\u00a3300 million) lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds on claims of civil extortion, defamation and invasion of privacy. Lively\u2019s team called the lawsuit \u2018another chapter in the abuser playbook\u2019.<\/p>\n Since then, the picture has only worsened. The case has received widespread global attention in the media, birthing thousands of TikTok takes from makeshift detectives. Both Baldoni and Lively continue to bring forth new claims on a regular basis and it looks near impossible that any of the aforementioned disputes will be settled or resolved outside of court.<\/p>\n Baldoni, for his part, has also leveraged separate accusations at Reynolds, claiming that he based the Nicepool character \u2013 a faux feminist with a man bun \u2013 in Deadpool & Wolverine off him as a way of bullying him. This is where Jackman is implicated.<\/p>\n Jackman\u2019s close friendship with the couple, particularly during post production and the press run of Deadpool & Wolverine<\/em>, which came out a few weeks before It Ends With Us<\/em>, meant he spent a lot of time with them and was pictured supporting Lively on the red carpet and vice versa. According to another source, Jackman might be deposed so that Baldoni\u2019s team can get \u2018the full scope of Reynolds\u2019 conduct\u2019 during the time It Ends With Us<\/em> was being filmed. \u2018Hugh will be deposed if this goes to trial,\u2019 they said, \u2018there is no way that he cannot.\u2019<\/p>\n \u2018Baldoni\u2019s legal team is doing everything they need to do to get a full scope of Ryan\u2019s conduct during the time that It Ends With Us<\/em> was filmed. As Ryan\u2019s good friend, who starred in the film and was with Blake and Ryan many times in private during that time, his deposition will likely be crucial. They are not going to leave any stone unturned.\u2019<\/p>\n We still have a long way to go before we see Lively, Baldoni and their motley crew of allies, complainants and celebrity friends heading to court, but it will no doubt become a blockbuster trial when they do.
