Well, it looks like Travis Kelce might\u2019ve done. The internet was set ablaze earlier this week following reports that Travis \u2013 who we all know for being Taylor Swift\u2019s loving boyfriend \u2013 had unfollowed Ryan Reynolds on Instagram. Drama.<\/p>\n Obviously, it could\u2019ve just been an accident; a press of the wrong button. But there\u2019s reason to believe it might be because of something else \u2013 as Page Six reported earlier this week that it could be thanks to the legal drama between Blake Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds and Justin Baldoni, and headlines that Taylor Swift might be subpoenaed.<\/p>\n \u2018Travis unfollowed Ryan because he is fed up with the whole drama,\u2019 a source told the Daily Mail. \u2018It’s not just about the spectacle of it all. Travis is concerned that he could potentially be questioned too since he was with Taylor as some of this was going down.\u2019<\/p>\n There have been differing reports as to whether Lively and Swift are still friends, but according to the paper, \u2018[Taylor and Travis] have cut out Ryan and Blake for the time being.\u2019<\/p>\n Yikes. It\u2019s certainly a far cry from how close their friendship circle used to be. Lively and Reynolds were photographed outside a party at Swift\u2019s during a break from the Eras tour last summer. And not only that, but both couples have been spotted on a double date, and Lively and Reynolds showed their support for Kelce, watching him play for the Chiefs in October last year. In the same month, Reynolds starred on a Mint Mobile advert, which appeared on an episode of Travis and his brother Jason\u2019s podcast \u2013 and after the ad, it seemed Reynolds had his seal of approval, as he called him \u2018literally the greatest\u2019.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/flatplan-plus-content.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/05\/GettyImages-1712331090.jpg” _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” theme_builder_area=”post_content” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″ alt=”Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds” title_text=”Kansas City Chiefs v New York Jets”][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_code _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][\/et_pb_code][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″] If you need more context, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni are embroiled in a legal showdown, after the pair worked together on the Colleen Hoover adaptation It Ends With Us. Lively executive produced on the film, and also starred as the lead, Lily Bloom. But at the end of last year, Lively filed a lawsuit, accusing Baldoni \u2013 who directed the film \u2013 of sexual harassment, as well as allegedly organising a smear campaign against her.<\/p>\n Baldoni denied the allegations, and filed a counter-lawsuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds accusing the pair of civil\u00a0extortion,\u00a0defamation and invasion of privacy. He is also suing The New York Times, who first reported on Lively\u2019s claims, for libel.<\/p>\n There\u2019s a long time to wait before it\u2019s set to be in court, though \u2013 as the trial is scheduled for March 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n But what on earth does this have to do with Taylor Swift? According to reports last week, Swift \u2013 who is a godmother to Lively\u2019s three daughters James, Inez and Betty \u2013 might be hauled into the legal drama, as the Daily Mail reported the popstar could be ordered to provide evidence.<\/p>\n In Baldoni\u2019s lawsuit, he alleges that he was invited to Lively and Reynolds\u2019 New York penthouse where one of her \u2018famous and famously close\u2019 friends, widely believed to be Swift, praised her rewrites of the script.<\/p>\n Baldoni then included text messages allegedly from Lively where she wrote: \u2018If you ever get around to watching\u00a0Game of Thrones, you\u2019ll appreciate that I\u2019m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons.\u2019<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text module_class=”custom-quote” _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” header_2_font=”Libre Bodoni|||on|||||” header_2_text_align=”center” header_2_text_color=”#333333″ header_2_font_size=”40px” header_2_line_height=”1.2em” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″] \u2018For better or worse, but usually better,\u2019 she wrote. \u2018Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you.\u2019<\/p>\n Another text from Baldoni included in his lawsuit reads: \u2018I really love what you did. It really does [help] a lot. Makes it so much more fun and interesting. (And I would have felt that way without Ryan and Taylor).\u2019<\/p>\n Sources previously told Page Six that Lively had said sorry to Swift for bringing her into the legal drama, but added Swift is keen not to be involved with the situation. A source told the publication that Swift \u2018is a strong woman and she\u2019s not hiding from anything\u2019 but that she is \u2018simply enjoying some alone time with Travis and being under the radar for a little bit\u2019.<\/p>\n As for Swift and Kelce, you might have seen online there had been some rumours that the pair had split up \u2013 especially after photos showed Kelce partying in Vegas alone.
