Reese has been seeing Oliver for at least a year, and while reports at first said the pair were casually dating, it\u2019s believed things are now looking so good they\u2019re planning to live together in New York City.<\/p>\n Page Six recently reported that Reese and Oliver had been spotted viewing a three-bedroom, 4.5-bath apartment \u2013 with a very cool $13million price tag. \u2018They are looking in the area because [one of her kids, Deacon] is attending New York University and Reese wants to be close,\u2019 the source said. \u2018They\u2019ve toured the apartment twice already and were very sweet and affectionate at both tours.\u2019 Oliver lives in NYC, while it would be a bit of a change for Reese, as she spends her time between homes in Nashville and Los Angeles, where her media company Hello Sunshine is based.<\/p>\n And apparently the relationship has helped Reese with her work-life balance, as a source who has worked with the actress for many years tells Grazia: \u2018Reese is building a wall of privacy around this relationship where she can drop her media mogul armour and relate to Oliver one-on-one, and that’s done wonders for her mood and her mental health during a very busy year for her company.\u2019<\/p>\n Apparently, her friends are joking the relationship is \u2018like she\u2019s having an affair\u2019 \u2013 but our source says Reese is \u2018very happy and highly optimistic this has potential to last long term\u2019. It was first reported the pair were an item after the couple took a helicopter ride into New York City, the next day enjoying a fancy meal at L’Artusi restaurant in the West Village.<\/p>\n A source tells Grazia the pair have since been spending lots of time together, frequently booking hotel mini-breaks. \u2018She\u2019s actually found all the sneaking around pretty exciting and romantic, especially as they\u2019re spending a lot of their dates in five-star luxury and she\u2019s also getting to travel to new places she\u2019s never experiences before,\u2019 the source adds.<\/p>\n Like good old-fashioned dating before the apps, apparently Reese and Oliver were introduced by mutual friends in New York City.<\/p>\n Initially, it was reported that the pair were friends, taking their relationship slow \u2013 though, given the reports of them viewing an apartment together, that seems to have changed.<\/p>\n ‘Reese is doing great and enjoys dating,’ a source told People early into their relationship. ‘She’s having fun with Oliver. And they add: \u2018She\u2019s more than happy that he\u2019s an unassuming, modest type of character even though he\u2019s vastly successful and has a ton of charisma that drew her to him in the first place.\u2019<\/p>\n It makes sense that he\u2019s less bothered about media attention, as he\u2019s a financier. He started his career in London at global investment firm KKR, but he started his own private equity firm, Searchlight Capital Partners, in 2010, which he is still a partner of.<\/p>\n Like Reese, Oliver has been married before, and he shares two children with ex-wife Mala Gaonkar. Reese has been married twice. She tied the knot with Ryan Phillippe in 1999, before divorcing in 2006; they share two children, Ava, 25, and Deacon, 21.
