However, after being dragged into the mammoth legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, the star has broken her silence \u2013 with her team sharing that any mention of her name is nothing more than \u2018tabloid clickbait.\u2019<\/p>\n Over the weekend, Taylor\u2019s team issued a frustrated statement over the \u2018Karma\u2019 singer\u2019s alleged involvement in the legal drama between Baldoni, 41, and Lively, 37. The 35-year-old Grammy winner was summoned to US court after it was said that she had encouraged Justin to accept script rewrites by Blake for It Ends With Us – the film which is now at the centre of a sexual harassment case. Taylor was subpoenaed by Justin\u2019s team as a witness to the feud between Lively and himself.<\/p>\n Blake \u2013 who starred as Lily Bloom in the adaptation of Coleen Hoover\u2019s bestselling novel It Ends With Us \u2013 first filed to sue her former director and co-star back in December 2024. She accused Justin \u2013 who starred as Lily\u2019s partner Ryle \u2013 of sexual harassment and a subsequent smear campaign. Weeks later, Justin responded by counter-suing both Blake and her husband, Deadpool\u2019s Ryan Reynolds, on claims of civil extortion, defamation, and invasion of privacy. The singer has name-dropped the Lively-Reynolds children in her songs, they\u2019ve stepped out together at multiple events (including the Super Bowl), and the A-list couple have enjoyed several public double-dates with Taylor and her NFL boyfriend, Travis Kelce.<\/p>\n It’s this close friendship that has seen Taylor dragged into the It Ends With Us fallout. It\u2019s worth noting that Travis, 35, hit headlines in recent weeks for unfollowing Ryan, 48, on Instagram, with insiders suggesting the move is an attempt to distance himself from the legal drama.<\/p>\n Tensions first rose between Justin and the Gossip Girl alum when he arrived at Blake\u2019s NYC home for a meeting about scene re-writes back in 2023 \u2013 only to find her accompanied by her \u2018dragons,\u2019 husband Ryan and Eras tour megastar Taylor.<\/p>\n Justin later alleged that texts were sent to him from Blake following their meeting, reading, \u2018If you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones, you\u2019ll appreciate that I\u2019m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons. For better or worse, but usually better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for.\u2019 It\u2019s been reported that these dragons referred to Ryan and Taylor.<\/p>\n Justin alleges he then responded positively to Blake\u2019s text, writing, \u2018I really love what you did [with the re-writes.] It really does help a lot. Makes it so much more fun and interesting. (And I would have felt that way without Ryan and Taylor.) Speaking at the New York premiere of It Ends with Us, 24-year-old Isabela shared, \u2018She [Taylor Swift] was a helpful part of the audition, which I found out later when I got it, and that rocked my world.\u2019<\/p>\n Representatives for Taylor have now addressed the situation, saying Taylor \u2018was not involved in any casting or creative decisions\u2019 and \u2018never saw an edit or made any notes on the film.\u2019<\/p>\n Shutting down rumours of the star having any input in It Ends With Us, they shared, \u2018Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release, and was travelling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history.<\/p>\n Insisting the only involvement the award-winning singer had in the film was \u2018permitting the use of one song, My Tears Ricochet,\u2019 her spokesperson added, \u2018Given that her involvement was licensing a song for the film, which 19 other artists also did, this subpoena is designed to use Taylor Swift\u2019s name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case.\u2019<\/p>\n Blake\u2019s legal team have also released their own statement after news of Taylor\u2019s potential involvement in the It Ends With Us drama arose. Her team were quoted as saying that Baldoni and his legal team \u2018continue to turn a case of sexual harassment and retaliation into entertainment for the tabloids.\u2019<\/p>\n \u2018This is a very serious matter, not Barnum & Bailey\u2019s Circus,\u2019 the spokesperson shared. \u2018The defendants continue to publicly intimidate, bully, shame and attack women\u2019s rights and reputations.\u2019<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” theme_builder_area=”post_content” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″] As of yet, Justin has not addressed comments from Taylor\u2019s legal team.
