It\u2019s gone down in history as one of the most star-studded and lavish celebrity weddings of all time but, thanks to a swathe of NDA\u2019s, we\u2019ve seen very little of what went on inside the famous venue.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Swift and Kelce\u2019s attendance at their friends\u2019 California wedding has predictably drawn comparisons, with commenters pointing out that the Ritz-Carlton venue was tasteful and somewhat understated. By comparison, the true extent of spending and almost wanton levels of extravagance at Swift\u2019s own ceremony has sparked a growing backlash, as people realise how out of touch it all really was as more information comes to light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote fp-pullquote has-grazia-font-family\" style=\"font-size:44px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400\"><blockquote><p>&#8216; Reports described an extravagant raffle, including designer bags, watches and cars. &#8216;<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anonymous attendees have claimed the scale of the celebration did feel uncomfortable at times. Reports described an extravagant raffle, with guests reportedly earning tickets by taking part in games during the reception. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prizes are said to have included luxury handbags, designer watches and even a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, the same classic car model Kelce is said to own. A multi-million dollar buffet was served. One guest told the Daily Mail: \u2018I couldn&#8217;t believe that there was a buffet at the wedding of the year! That felt like such a tacky move.\u2019 Another described \u2018chaotic scenes\u2019 around the food stations, while other reports suggested some attendees felt more like spectators than participants in the spectacle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The dystopian elements of the wedding have been captured perfectly by New York artist Justin Gignac, who has capitalised on the frenzy surrounding the event by collecting actual litter from the streets outside Madison Square Garden in the hours after the ceremony and sealing it into small transparent cubes which he sold online for $25 each. The pieces on offer included everything from cigarette butts, to straws, bottle caps, a Ring Pop &#8211; even an ovulation test kit. It really gives a new meaning to the phrase: one man\u2019s trash is another man\u2019s treasure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There was criticism at the time of the event given its enormous scale and cost (despite the fact the couple appeared to attempt to offset the expense by donating $26 million to charity &#8211; it was pointed out this is a mere drop in the ocean to a woman worth two billion dollars.
