I\u2019m sexy at sixty and having the best sex and intimacy of my life – and living my most vibrant turned on life EVER! I\u2019m trailblazing for mature women everywhere and proving that we are not all on a trajectory to becoming invisibilised dried up old bags as our youth obsessed culture would have us believe. In fact I\u2019m only just getting started!
But it has not always been this way. I\u2019ve been on a Sheroes journey of note to get here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three years ago I was sitting in a dead, loveless 35 year marriage thinking, ‘Oh well, this is as good as it gets and we\u2019ll just be companions from now on and I\u2019ll never have sex again.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thankfully, not true! But it took a seismic shake up and for my whole life to fall apart for meaningful change to happen – the marriage ended and along with it the successful business we ran together. At the same time I moved back to the UK after living in South Africa for 20 years to a town I\u2019d never even visited and where I knew no one to start my life from scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was brutal to say the least – I was face down in the dirt, broken and covered in snot and tears. But everything familiar had to die in order for the new to be born. Yes it was the most painful and challenging year of my life – and it was the biggest gift. I am rising like the phoenix in the flames from the ashes of my former life and now living my dream life – more happy and fulfilled than ever before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I grew up with a bi polar alcoholic father who was violent and sexually abusive. This left me sexually frozen and unable to orgasm and feel safe to be fully sexual in my own body for a lot of my adult life. Outwardly I was vibrant and confident in my sassy life in London as Senior Fashion Editor of Elle magazine, living a glamorous successful life. But inwardly I knew something was missing.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the birth of my second son I got seriously depressed for five years and shut down into a numb state as I started to get therapy for my childhood trauma and abuse. Again this turned out to be a gift as that\u2019s where Tantra found me. I was sitting in a restaurant one evening and this radiant woman walked in \u2013 she was magnetic and shining so brightly everyone turned to stare. I thought \u2018I want what she\u2019s got!\u2019 So I plucked up courage to go and ask her secret \u2013 she was a world renowned Tantra teacher who I then worked with for 10 years on a radical transformative healing journey that supported me out of depression into vitality and aliveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cherry on the cake of this journey was that three years ago I experienced a huge kundalini awakening of sexual life force energy in my body with more orgasmic pleasure than I imagined was possible coursing through my body. This has opened pathways to vibrant aliveness and pleasure in my body that is like rocket fuel for ALL of life – it fires my creativity, intuition, purpose and passions, as well as incredible delicious sex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It became clear my life’s purpose was to use my own healing journey as inspiration to train as a trauma and nervous system informed facilitator to support other midlife women rise and shine. Along the way I spent 20 years in South Africa as an emotional support person in women\u2019s healing spaces as well as becoming an ally to local township communities where I set up a Non Profit Company to support marginalised women to set up their own microbusinesses and have monthly talking circles and retreats. Witnessing these brave women living in dire poverty reclaim their dignity through becoming more empowered and building sisterhood and sustainable income through creating their own businesses filled my heart with so much joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I feel like I\u2019ve now woven all my life skills and experiences together from corporate badass to barefoot hippy activist and now Menopause Queen – last year I launched my dream business Mature Eros leading the menopausal pleasure revolution! I\u2019m a midlife mentor and embodiment coach guiding women 40+ out of stress and overwhelm into ease and bliss. My unique Reclaimed Woman Methodology is a curation of all the tools and practices that have supported me to reset my nervous system and cultivate feel good hormone oxytocin in my body to reduce cortisol and blossom into my full orgasmic potential living the life of my dreams. I\u2019m super excited to bring this much needed work to the world as I believe an embodied, open hearted, turned on woman is<\/em> the revolution the world needs right now – female leadership at its very best!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
