For years, Kendall Jenner has been dogged by rumours about her sexuality. Her close friendship with Cara Delevingne only fuelled the speculation, and the model has had to bat it away more than once. But when she started dating Jacob Elordi \u2013 the Australian actor who\u2019s been branded Hollywood\u2019s sexiest man \u2013 it seemed the gossip had been put to bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, after all this time, Kendall has finally addressed those rumours head-on \u2013 and her answer has surprised a lot of people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The admission came in the most recent episode of The Kardashians, where the 30-year-old star sat down for a chat with Cara backstage at a L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris fashion show. The pair addressed the long-standing internet rumours and fan speculation that they once dated or were romantically involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conversation was reportedly filmed in 2025, months before Kendall was linked to Jacob. \u2018We have been friends for a long time now – going on 11 or 12 years. She brought me under her wing \u2013 in a way \u2013 and made me feel really safe and welcome in the modelling world,\u2019 the reality television star shared candidly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Cara has long been open about her sexuality, it was only in May that the 34-year-old publicly came out as a lesbian during an appearance at Rosal\u00eda\u2019s Lux Tour at London\u2019s O2 Arena. In an interview with Variety, she revealed that she had previously identified as bisexual and pansexual and had dated men in the past but was now \u2018very happy\u2019 to call herself a lesbian after overcoming internalised homophobia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the English socialite has been linked to many famous A-listers over the years, including Michelle Rodriguez, Ashley Benson and Amber Heard, it\u2019s her rumoured romance with Kendall that has long dominated the headlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And now, Kendall \u2013 who turns 31 next month \u2013 has finally put an end to the speculation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018We should address this. It\u2019s because of our love for each other. People think I\u2019m a lesbian to this day,\u2019 she shared with the cameras as she reflected on their decade-long friendship, before declaring rather pointedly, \u2018I\u2019m not.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite this, the star teased that she \u2018wouldn\u2019t be opposed to having some fun with a girl\u2019. And when Cara asked which woman she\u2019d choose, Kendall\u2019s answer came without hesitation: \u2018Obviously\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Kendall has addressed public speculation about her sexuality. The most recent time was in January 2026, on the In Your Dreams podcast with Owen Thiele. When asked about the online rumours that plague her, Kendall was remarkably frank. \u2018There\u2019s the whole side of the internet that thinks I\u2019m a lesbian\u2026 You want to know what really bothers me? How mean people are about it. It\u2019s not like with, like, a welcome arm of like, \u2018Hey, if you were, yes, come join.\u2019 It\u2019s not kind. It\u2019s very mean. It\u2019s very like, \u201cWhat the f**k are you doing?\u201d\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking further about the challenges of living openly as a queer person, Kendall admitted that if she was secretly a queer woman, she\u2019d have \u2018no problem\u2019 being out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curiously, despite her allyship, this isn\u2019t even the first time the brunette beauty has been quizzed over her alleged status as a gay woman. In her April 2018 Vogue cover interview, she said she didn\u2019t think she had a \u2018bisexual or gay bone\u2019 in her body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018I\u2019m all down for experience \u2013 not against it whatsoever \u2013 but I\u2019ve never been there before,\u2019 she told the publication at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While public comments from Kendall about her sexuality have been rare over the years, the star has had several high-profile relationships with men in the public eye \u2013 most recently Australian heartthrob Jacob Elordi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dreamy duo was first linked in March, when they were reportedly spotted chatting at the Vanity Fair Oscar party, although sources claim they got together as early as February. And it seems Kendall\u2019s sister Kylie Jenner played matchmaker. A source previously told heat, \u2018Kylie was around Jacob a lot during Timoth\u00e9e\u2019s award season marathon because Jacob was nominated for Frankenstein and Timoth\u00e9e was nominated for Marty Supreme. Kylie liked him and thought he would be good for Kendall, so she was like, \u201cDate this guy already\u201d.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After quietly spending time together behind closed doors, the lovebirds were reportedly spotted sharing a cheeky kiss at Justin Bieber\u2019s post-Coachella party in April. They\u2019ve also been snapped on numerous outings around Montecito and Santa Barbara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things have only got more serious since. The couple took a quiet trip to Tokyo in early June, and by the end of the month, sources claimed things had got \u2018pretty serious\u2019. Kendall then flew to Jacob\u2019s home country of Australia to celebrate his 29th birthday on 26 June, and the pair were photographed together in Byron Bay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it seems Kendall is falling hard. \u2018Jacob is incredibly charming. He\u2019s very zeroed in on Kendall and has been pouring all his attention into her, so it\u2019s intoxicating,\u2019 a source tells heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July, Jacob reportedly joined Kendall for a family getaway at her lake house in Coeur d\u2019Alene, Idaho, where insiders said he fitted in seamlessly with the Kardashian-Jenner clan. He later joined her at family events in California, including a celebration of life for her grandmother, MJ Shannon, who died in July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In August, it was Kendall\u2019s turn to follow Jacob, as she joined him in London while he was promoting his film The Dog Stars. The pair were photographed hand in hand on dates around the city and enjoyed dinner at Cipriani with Jacob\u2019s dad, John. Elordi also reportedly booked a penthouse suite at Claridge\u2019s, with The Sun claiming it cost \u00a360,000 a night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In September, Jacob was by Kendall\u2019s side at Paris Fashion Week after she led the L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris runway show near the Eiffel Tower. Paparazzi snapped the pair strolling through the French capital, sharing some PDA, and Jacob was filmed asking photographers to let them get back to their hotel in peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their latest outing came this month at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on 17 October. They walked the red carpet separately, moments apart, in coordinating black outfits. Inside, they were photographed cosying up together at their table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for what the power couple have said about their romance? Mum\u2019s the word! Fans of the lovebirds may never hear any insight into this relationship, with both Kendall and Jacob leading notoriously private lives \u2013 their relationship being no exception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
