How Kim Kardashian is handling Kanye West’s latest disturbing social media posts

Kim Kardashian is reportedly considering filing for full custody

Kim and Kanye in 2020.

We need to talk about Kanye West. His recent abhorrent social media tirades are by no means the first of their kind and have become a source of justified and widespread concern.

Not long ago, West deleted his X account after declaring ‘I love Hitler’, claiming he has ‘dominion’ over his wife Bianca Censori, and spewing vitriol towards his former personal assistant, who last year filed a lawsuit against him accusing him of sexual assault. West has denied the allegations.

Now, he has targeted his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her wider family because she allegedly cut short one of his visits with their eldest daughter, North West, after learning that Andrew and Tristan Tate, leading influencers in the misogynistic ‘manosphere’, were planning to join them.

The Tate brothers are currently facing human trafficking charges and Andrew has also been charged with rape. The brothers have denied any wrongdoing. They recently arrived in the US from Romania after a travel ban on them was lifted and appear to have a growing relationship with West.

A few days prior to the planned meeting, West released a song called ‘Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine’, which features North alongside the disgraced rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who is awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He also faces multiple allegations of sexual assault and abuse, including from minors – all of which he denies.

Apparently, West and Kardashian had an emergency meeting with their legal representatives and a mediator to discuss the song before it was released, as well as West’s recent social media outbursts and his relationship with the Tate brothers. They allegedly agreed that West would not release ‘Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine’ to protect North’s safety during the meeting, but West went back on his word and released it anyway. He then wrote, ‘men make the final decision’ on X.

In spite of this, it is West who then furiously targeted Kardashian in the aftermath. Amongst other disturbing and entirely unfounded claims, he wrote that the Kardashian is a family of ‘sex workers’ and ‘sex traffickers’ and said they ‘strategically produce’ Black children. Kardashian has not responded in public, but a source told Page Six that ‘she’s done trying to be reasonable with Kanye when it comes to communication’.

‘It’s hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil’ – Tina Knowles

West’s disturbing outburst did not end there. He also unleashed fury on his former friends, Beyonce and Jay-Z, days after publicly questioning the mental capacity of their two youngest children. West accused the couple of not using their influence to help him get ‘more leverage’ with his own children. He then referenced the time he stormed on stage and stole the microphone from Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs to praise Beyonce, as well as the fact she and Jay-Z did not attend his wedding to Kardashian in 2014.

While West deleted his original post about the couple’s twins and wrote that he ‘feels bad’, he clarified that the primary reason he removed the post was in fear of having his account deleted. ‘I need everyone to know that I took the post about Jay Z and Beyoncé’s family down… because there was a possibility of my Twitter being cancelled.’

The couple have not responded, but Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles took to Instagram to write, ‘It’s hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil. But I know that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper. This battle is not mine, but the Lord’s, I know that God has got this.’

It’s clear that West is burning bridges. Following his repeated commitment to antisemitism, racism and sexism, he has long lost an army of loyal fans. Now, not only is he targeting his friends and family, but he stands to lose custody of his children.

West and Kardashian currently have joint custody, but all four children live primarily in LA with Kardashian, and West is granted visitation. ‘I don’t want to just “see” my kids. I need to raise them,’ the rapper recently posted on X. ‘All these rights have been taken from me by the Kardashian mob Hulu and Disney and the bigger agenda.’

Unsurprisingly, in light of West’s recent stunt with the Combs single and his planned meeting with the Tate brothers, Kardashian is seriously considering filing for full custody and would have a strong claim. Pressure is mounting on the Kardashian family to publicly respond to West’s disturbing social media posts.

‘Kim’s priority is the wellbeing and safety of her children,’ a source told People, ‘and to protect them from being around Kanye’s controversial behaviour.’
