If there’s one couple that categorically doesn’t know how to get a room, it’s Bianca Censori and Kanye West. The controversial couple, who married in 2022 — after Censori started working for the Gold Digger rapper at Yeezy in 2020 — have a penchant for barely there dressing: Censori wearing next to nothing (thongs, sheer tights, stilettos), West, sitting back enjoying watching it.

For their latest PDA pursuit, Censori shared a video to social media of her and West dancing in front of a pink-hued sunset. For the post she wore a black baby-tee (OK) and then, out of nowhere, arse cheeks. Yup, she opted for a thong. That is, not to shame women if they want to get their bum out online. In fact you absolutely should, if you feel like it. But the reason this post has made online onlookers feel especially icky, is predominantly because it comes after the couple were rumoured to have split following an especially daring stunt at this year’s Grammy Awards — and its tense aftermath.

Yes, in a moment that was burned into the internet’s collective consciousness, Censori rocked up to the Grammy’s red carpet totally nude through a sheer mini dress. West, meanwhile, opted for a markedly more demure black T-shirt. Many have questioned whether the rapper has an uncomfortable influence over these nude stunts as Censori never indulged in them prior to the relationship and looked visibly uncomfortable on the Grammy’s red carpet. A lip reader, Nicola Hickling, interpreted West as saying in the moments before Censori dropped a fur coat to expose her body: “Make a scene, I’ll say it’ll make so much sense… Drop it behind you and then turn…You’re making a scene now… I got you.”

Following the event, West was the focus of backlash, with angry social media users labelling him “abusive” and “controlling” for the stunt, which he did not address. “Everyone thinks this man is a genius for working out that sex sells, oldest trick in the book,” one person remarked. “It’s an easy win when a man puts a naked woman on screen,” another added. “Is she a social experiment to you?” another user asked West of his feelings towards his wife. “This ain’t something to be proud of,” an additional person responded to West’s gloating.

In the days after the event, reports claimed the couple were headed for divorce, with West embarking on an anti-simetic rant on X/Twitter, saying that he was a Nazi and loved Hitler — he later claimed the posts were a social experiment. In April, the rapper appeared to confirm Censori had left him at that time, with the release of his song “BIANCA”: “My baby she ran away,” he says in the songs lyrics. “But first she tried to get me committed / Not going to the hospital ‘cause I am not sick I just do not get it.”

He continued: “She’s having a panic attack and she is not liking the way I tweeted / Until Bianca’s back I stay up all night I’m not going to sleep / I really don’t know where she’s at.”

Yet now Censori and West appear to be back together, and everything’s, seemingly, fine? Still, the internet’s concerns are certainly echoed by Censori’s family, with the Australian model’s father Leo demanding as far back as March 2024 that West fly down under and explain Censori’s divisive outfits. Or, lack of. “Her dad plans to have a sit down with Kanye,” a source told MailOnline at the time. “Leo will not be intimidated by Kanye’s power or control.”

Subsequently, in October that year when West and Censori’s relationship was first reported to be coming to a close, the model’s family were said to have felt duped by the split not coming to fruition; A feeling many fans have since resonated with. “Her parents are shocked by what they’re seeing – they feel tricked because Bianca told them she was getting ready to leave, an insider said. “They can’t understand what is happening and feel that she is being controlled.”

Notably, elsewhere in “BIANCA”, West raps that Censori’s family want him “locked up” and to go to a “retreat”. Reportedly, this is exactly what saved the couples faltering relationship: “They spent a month at this place called The Balance Clinic, which is basically a holistic therapy spa that has all sorts of things from massages to meditation to yoga to full on therapy,” a source told In Touch Weekly. “It was Bianca’s ultimatum, either Ye went or the marriage was over. He begrudgingly agreed, but now he’s saying it was a great idea, that she’s a genius that saved their marriage.”

They added: “He’s making all these big plans to renew their vows and he’s back to talking about her having his babies. But it’s hard to imagine all that much has changed long-term after a few weeks of getting help. No one is expecting this honeymoon period to last, his circle is all saying it will be back in train wreck territory before long.

The source added Censori is “very close to her breaking point,” explaining: “She’s giving him another chance but it’s hard to imagine she’ll stick around the next time he goes off the rails, which is pretty well a matter of when, not if.” But for now, they’re dancing with no trousers on in the sunset.
