I’ve Been Refreshing Zara Every Day – Finally, The Chic Top I’ve Seen Everywhere Is Back

Zara Lace Top AN

If there’s one brand that knows how to make a bestseller, it’s Zara. In fact, the brand has an entire laundry list of items we like to refer to as ‘cult’. Take its orange and blue polka dot midi skirt, for example, or its khaki belted jacket that needs little introduction. The latest item to go viral on Zara even had the Grazia desk frantically rushing around London to find it in stock – yes, I’m referring to that Zara asymmetric lace dress. We waxed lyrical about the dress earlier this week, but its latest iteration, said dress in camisole top form, is a secret I must let you in on.

ZW Collection’s Lace Camisole Top is one of those high street finds that looks so much more expensive than its price tag (which, in this case, is under-£40). The top is cut with an asymmetric hem and a flattering V-neck that skims the collarbone. It’s finished with delicate lace trimmings and is equal parts minimal and romantic. Most importantly, perhaps, it doesn’t look like you’ve fished it out of your grandma’s nightwear drawer.

Zara Lace Top

The Lace Camisole Top comes in three different colours, all of which feel like they offer a different styling opportunity. The light blue (almost white) is perfect for styling with white linen trousers and leather sandals for an easy warm weather outfit. The butter yellow will bring a subtle brightness to your outfit that works with neutral colours or dark denim. The black top is best for nailing dinner-dressing, styled underneath a blazer with wide-leg trousers.

If your interest has now piqued (much like mine did when I first saw it on Zara’s new-in page), you’ll be pleased to know the Lace Camisole Top is currently available online in all sizes. No full-scale find-that-top operation or rushing around Oxford Street required. Although considering the success of its original cream iteration or the lace-trimmed dresses, I’m not sure how long that’ll be the case for. Shop below.
