If you buy one more jumper this winter, make it this one – but it’s already selling fast
It’s exactly what you’d want from a winter knit, and more.

In every wardrobe, there are a few pieces that instantly earn their keep. You know the ones: you put them on once, and suddenly, they’re in constant rotation. That’s exactly what happened with this particular grey oversized jumper from &Other Stories that caught my eye last week. I immediately added it to basket, and since it arrived, it’s basically all I’ve worn.
The jumper in question is made from a cosy wool–cotton blend that keeps you warm, with an easy, oversized fit, dropped shoulders and long sleeves. The classic crew neckline makes layering simple, while the slightly longer hem at the back adds to the effortless, slouchy feel. It runs roomy, so size down if you prefer a neater silhouette. Although the jumper is a relatively new arrival, I’ve already spotted it on some of the most stylish women on my feed.
Styling-wise, the options are endless: jeans, a tee and trainers for every day; grey tailoring and a red scarf for a pop of colour or worn over a satin skirt, dress or kilt for contrast. My favourite is layered under a groat (that’s a grey coat for the uninitiated) for a full tonal chic look. You’ll genuinely never run out of ways to wear it. While Copenhagen Fashion Week might suggest winter dressing should involve an explosion of colour, texture and statement prints, there’s something so powerful about grey knitwear. Sometimes, basic really is best. This simple jumper will become the piece you reach for when you ‘have nothing to wear’ – that reliable staple that somehow always works.
The best bit? It’s still in stock, but I have a feeling it won’t be for long.
