I’ve Found The Perfect Throw-On Argyle Cardigan And It’s Currently 20% Off
Cheerful, classic and cool.

As winter settles in and the instinct to wrap yourself in comforting layers takes over, few knits feel as reassuringly classic as argyle. Once seen as the uniform of golf clubs and preppy wardrobes, the diamond-check pattern has staged a more playful seasonal comeback, infiltrating runways and fashion weeks, and trickling down to the high street with unexpected freshness and joy.
Designers are reimagining argyle jumpers and cardigans in oversized silhouettes, offbeat colour clashes, and plush yarns that make them an ideal defence against the cold mornings and gloomy afternoons. The geometric design offers a taste of nostalgia, while this latest outing positions argyle as a pattern that will reappear again and again, making it a worthwhile investment.
While many of us wish we could splurge on the likes of Miu Miu, whose delectable cardigans, jumpers and twin sets are at the forefront of the argyle resurgence, the high street has offered up a delightful array of options, too. One design that’s been favoured by the most fashionable women on my feed is the Abi Cardigan from Boden.
While the stunning lilac shade is now basically sold out (there’s only one size left at time of writing), the camel/navy colourway is still fully stocked, although with 20% off its original price, I’m not convinced it’ll be around for long. The perfect throw-on-and-go cardigan for when the dark mornings make getting dressed just a little too much to bear, team it with indigo jeans and trainers for a casual Friday look, or with a midi skirt and boots for something more elevated.
Shop the cardigan below, or head to the Boden website for more Black Friday goodness, where you can find up to 40% off right now.
