There’s no denying that coat season is well underway, and while there are plenty of coats dominating the high street right now, Mango’s offering has to be up there with the best. Cast your minds back to when Mango’s fur-effect coat could be spotted on the shoulders of every fashionable influencer on your feed. The coat sold out almost instantly, and no one was surprised. Its elevated design comprising soft faux fur, contrasting faux leather trims and unique appliqués had us in a chokehold.

Imagine my delight, then, when I was scrolling through the Mango Black Friday sale, and I spotted a coat so similar, but in faux shearling, for just £79.99, down from £119.99. And the kicker? It’s reversible, meaning it’s essentially two jackets for the price of one. That isn’t girl maths; it’s just maths maths.

As predicted, though, it’s already beginning to sell out, with only medium and large left in stock, so if it takes your fancy, you’d better move quickly.
