Everything we know about Bianca Censori’s new film
The couple are planning to release a ‘self-funded’ feature film

Another day, another lewd picture of Bianca Censori posted on social media by her husband-cum-stylist-cum-self-proclaimed ‘dominion’. This time, though, it’s apparently attached to a new film project.
The pictured shared with West’s 20.6 million followers shows Censori lying naked across the floor with her back to the camera. ‘I’m so proud of my wife for starring in her first feature film shot in Japan directed by Vanessa Beecroft, produced by me,’ the caption reads in block capitals.
One fan jokingly commented, ‘Can you lay like that for an album cover ye?’ which has received more than 64,000 likes. Another wrote, ‘I’ve seen this woman naked beyond my will more times than I can count.’
The couple last caught the media’s attention at the Grammys on 4 February when they walked the red carpet together. West was wearing dark sunglasses, a black t shirt and black trousers, while Censori was wearing a large, black fur coat, before dropping it in front of the camera to reveal her almost entirely naked body.
According to lip readers, West stood giving directives from the sidelines and said, ‘Make a scene, I’ll say it’ll make so much sense… Drop it behind you and then turn… you’re making a scene now… I got you.’
Anyone who has, perhaps unwillingly, been following the couple in recent years will know this was not their first stunt and is unlikely to be their last. They have developed a reputation for walking around in public in outlandish outfits – or rather Censori has, while her fully dressed husband walks by her side.
However, West’s latest post suggests they have been working on a project that puts Censori front and centre. In fact, the film is already finished. West and Censori were spotted at the premiere in Los Angeles last weekend where it was advertised as three acts. Tickets were reportedly sold online to the public, although the poster advertised it for ‘family and friends’.
What is Bianca Censori’s new film about?
The film has been described as a provocative exploration of the female body as ‘something to showcase’ and delves into themes of vulnerability and expression. According to TMZ, in one scene Censori is seen rolling around on the floor in a see-through body suit. She also reportedly chops her hair and wears a blonde wig.
‘I’m so proud of my wife for starring in her first feature film’
Apparently, the project has been ‘entirely funded’ by the couple themselves and was filmed in Japan as well as in another undisclosed location. Reports also suggest the film is called ‘Bianca’, although the Japanese script above Censori’s naked body in the image West shared on Instagram reads ‘Preview Act’.
As for when the film will be released or if there is a publicly available trailer to watch, little is known. It is not listed on IMDb, where all West’s other credits are. It is also unclear why the film was shot in Japan or whether the country or its culture will play a major role.
It is therefore difficult to draw conclusions about what the film means or whether it will show a different side to Censori – something people long to see. After witnessing her adorned in duct tape, pillow tops, nude body suits or nothing at all, there is a growing sense of unease about how little else we know or see of her. It’s probably why the comment under West’s post asking if he’d lay naked like that for an album cover has received so many likes.
Then there are the more unsettling claims that West uses his wife as a ‘sex party coordinator’ and that he said he wanted to have sex with her mother in front of her shortly after their wedding. These claims come from West’s former personal assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, who has filed a lawsuit against the rapper alleging sexual assault and wrongful termination. In her lawsuit, Pisciotta also alleges that there is an unsettling and fundamentally unequal dynamic between West and Censori in their marriage.
West denied Pisciotta’s original allegations and recently responded to her lawsuit on social media via a grossly misogynistic statement. ‘You know why I never f***ed Lauren Pisciotta, cause she smelt awkward’ he wrote, adding ‘freeze your eggs cause nobody wants them’.
At this point in time, then, it feels incredibly difficult to imagine that this film will show a multi-faceted and autonomous Censori, that it will allow her to establish herself as more than just West’s wife.
