Lady Victoria Hervey, a British aristocrat and model who dated Prince Andrew in 1999, has mocked Virgina Giuffre after experiencing a car accident that she says has left her terminally ill. Giuffre, 41, was a victim of Jeffrey Epstein and sued Prince Andrew in 2021 for sexual assault. Prince Andrew denied the allegations and settled out of court with Giuffre.

This week, Giuffre posted online that she had been in a car crash with a school bus travelling 110km per hour and had ‘four days to live’ due to kidney failure caused by the accident.

‘This year has been the worst start to a new year, but I won’t bore anyone with the details, but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can,’ Giuffre wrote on Instagram.

‘I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology. I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes. S**T in one hand and wish in the other & I guarantee it’s still going to be s**t at the end of the day. Thank you all for being the wonderful people of the world and for being a great part of my life. Godbless you all.’

In a statement, her spokesperson Dini von Mueffling said: ‘Virginia has been in a serious accident and is receiving medical care in the hospital. She greatly appreciates the support and well wishes people are sending.’

In response, Hervey posted on her own Instagram writing ‘KARMA’ over a picture of Giuffre in hospital. The 48-year-old also added the song ‘The Final Countdown’ to her Instagram Story post and has since made several comments online suggesting she doesn’t believe Giuffre. Hervey is a staunch defender of Prince Andrew and claims Giuffre lied about her accusation that Andrew sexually assaulted her several times when she was 17.

‘If Virginia Giuffre really does have days to live, then a complete confession is needed,’ Hervey wrote. ‘I don’t believe it though. The FBI are on her right now and arrest warrants are incoming: she’s conveniently dying to evade jail.’

Hervey has offered no evidence of an FBI investigation into Giuffre.

‘The pain caused by her lies – destroying lives and tearing families apart, all for money – is no small thing,’ Hervey wrote online. ‘She has a lot to answer for. I call this divine judgement by God. People say karma has a way of catching up, don’t they? What goes around comes around, and someone who’s caused that much harm might just find the truth closing in on them one day. When it does, it’s rarely pretty.’

Hervey accused Giuffre of faking a photo of her and Prince Andrew, claiming she used an ‘Irish body double’ and now claims she’s faking her injuries. Giuffre has not responded to Hervey.

Prince Andrew

In 2021, Prince Andrew was stripped of his title and military roles. In his settlement with Giuffre, he expressed regret for associating with Jeffrey Epstein but did not admit liability or apologise. He later said he would make a ‘substantial donation’ to Guiffre’s charity, Speak Out, Act Reclaim (SOAR) which was previously known as Victims Refuse Silence. The non-profit offers support to victims of sex trafficking.

Guiffre created the charity after accusing Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking. Epstein was charged with sex trafficking and was awaiting trail when he died in a New York prison sell. He had previously been convicted for soliciting prostitution from a minor in 2005. Maxwell was found guilty of sex trafficking in 2022 and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Hervey says she met Epstein and Maxwell 20 years ago when she was ‘young and naïve’. She dated Prince Andrew in 1999, but little is known about how and why their relationship ended. She has however shared that she mixed with Maxwell and Epstein on the party scene, accusing the former of using her as ‘bait’ for the latter.

Prince Andrew and Epstein

‘Epstein] just kind of sat back and sort of waited for [Maxwell] to sort of go fishing and go find however many girls were needed, you know, to entertain his friends. I think I was pretty much used as bait,’ she said in a documentary about Epstein in 2022. ‘You know, looking back at, you know I was really young and naive, and she’s entertaining these, you know, big businessmen.’

‘Models got taken advantage of all the time,’ Hervey said in another interview. ‘We were just sort of a pretty face to have and entertain people. I was definitely one of the luckier ones and I’m aware of that.’

Prince Andrew says he and Epstein were introduced in 1999 by Maxwell, whom he met at Oxford University. However, notes by Andrew’s private secretary in 2011 claim they met in the early 1990s. Flight logs published by the Daily Mirror show he visited Epstein’s private Island in the Caribbean February 1999 and that summer Epstein and Maxwell visited Balmoral. Epstein and Andrew later attended many royal events together and visited Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.

Their long-recorded friendship caused much controversy, even as far back as 2010, given Epstein’s 2005 conviction. Now, Andrew says he regrets it.
