If you haven’t been keeping up to date with Leonardo DiCaprio’s love-life, we don’t blame you. The Academy Award winning actor is notoriously private about his love life— which mainly features a long list of beautiful women in their early to mid-twenties.

His latest girlfriend is Italian model, Vittoria Ceretti— who yes, is 24 years his junior. Vittoria, 26, recently gave a rare interview where she opened up about her two-year relationship with the star.

Although Leo was never explicitly named in the cover story— which appeared in Vogue France— the interviewer did mention that Vittoria was ‘in a relationship with a very, very famous actor,’ noting that she even had a sticker of him as a teenager on her iPhone during the last Victoria’s Secret show.
When asked if she had seen Leo’s iconic 1997 film, Titanic, she replied, ‘Who hasn’t seen it? Or didn’t like it? It’s an iconic film.’

According to Vittoria— who has been modelling since she was 14 years old— she first met Leo ‘in Milan. But I prefer not to go into details.’

When asked if she thinks it’s a risk to be labelled ‘girlfriend of’ Leo despite having an established modelling career of own, she replied, ‘Yes. As soon as you’re in a relationship with someone who has a larger following than you, you become “girlfriend of”—or “boyfriend of,” for that matter— and that can be extremely annoying. Suddenly, people are talking about you as so-and-so’s girlfriend who was so-and-so’s ex. So, it’s not nice to think that you can’t love whoever you want, because of the labels people need to stick on you.’

While Vittoria is no stranger to fame— having walked in over 400 runway shows and appeared on the cover of Vogue and its international editions 24 times—there’s simply no denying that Leo’s star shines a bit brighter than her own.

When asked if there was an adjustment period to dating someone so famous, she revealed, ‘It’s something you learn. If what you’re experiencing is real, if you know you love each other, then there’s no reason to be alarmed. Because love protects and gives confidence.’

The 26-year-old— who has worked for brands like Prada, Armani, Alexander McQueen and Givenchy— reportedly first caught the Oscar winner’s eye at the premiere for his film, Killers of the Flower Moon, in May 2023 at the Cannes Film Festival.

An eyewitness spotted the couple shortly after the festival on an ice-cream date in Los Angeles, and it wasn’t long before Leo was calling Vittoria his girlfriend. The couple were even spotted on a trip to Rome where Vittoria was seen meeting Leo’s mother, Irmelin Indenbirken, leaving insiders to believe that Leo was finally ready to retire his lothario ways and settle down.

While this might be one of Leo’s first exclusive relationships, Vittoria has no issue in the commitment department. In January 2020, a then-21-year-old Vittoria married Italian DJ Matteo Milleri in Ibiza while wearing a flowy, A-line gown by Jacquemus, which she paired with a tulle veil and white heels. However, by 2022 Matteo was noticeably absent from her Instagram, leading fans to believe that the pair had separated. Their divorce was finalised in June 2023, just a couple of months after she reportedly met Leo.

Based on his previous girlfriends over the years, Leo— who’s role in 1996’s Romeo + Juliet cemented his heartthrob status— certainly has a type. In 2022, he was previously tied to 29-year-old model Gigi Hadid—who shares four-year-old daughter Khai with former One Direction star Zayn Malik— but their spark quickly fizzled out. However, she’s unlikely to still be pining over Leonardo as she’s now dating Hollywood star Bradley Cooper.

In August 2022, it was announced that Leo had parted ways from his girlfriend of five years, Camila Morone. Camila— who is the former stepdaughter of actor Al Pacino, a close friend of Leo’s— is perhaps best known for her role as Camila in Amazon Prime Video’s series Daisy Jones & The Six. This was one of Leo’s longest relationships to date, and although both of their reps declined to comment on the split at the time, sources have speculated that the relationship had simply ran its course.

If you still don’t believe us about Leo having a type, it doesn’t take long to spot a similarity between his former flings. The actor has previously been linked to Polish model Ela Kawalec when she was 21, Victoria Secret model Georgia Fowler when she was 24 and Danish model Nina Agdal when she was 24— and that was all while he was 42.

He has also made headlines after being spotted with actresses Amber Valletta, Bijou Phillips and Blake Lively, and models Gisele Bündchen, Eva Herzigová, Bar Refaeli and Anne Vyalitsyna, to name a few.
